Title: Foo Fighters Sonic Highways

I'm mainly talking about the show. It's fucking incredible.

Dave Grohl is amazing at everything he does and documentary director is on that list.

I had already seen Sound City and it was awesome.

Sonic Highways is so much better.

The premise, for the uninitiated, is they travel to 10 different music cities, explore the musical history of that city, and then write a song inspired by the city.

I'm one of those weirdos who is way into punk rock and (non-Nashville cookie cutter) country. As well as a soft spot for the blues.

The first three episodes on Chicago (blues), D.C. (punk), and Nashville (country) were right up my alley. The Austin one came out last week, but I haven't had a chance to catch it yet. L.A., New Orleans, Seattle, & New York have episodes upcoming.
