And THAT gentleman is a straight up pimp hand!
Don't be gittin' up in Ray's face. Ray Lewis may stab yo ass but Ray Rice will knock yo ass out, if you are a woman at least.
-
2 game suspension for that is such horseshit.
-
And THAT gentleman is a straight up pimp hand!
Gatah's bitches better be using jimmies.
-
2 game suspension for that is such horseshoot.
I agree. It was just a bitch slap. How is a fellow supposed to work if they start handing out 2 week suspensions every time you slap a hoe?

He should've just focused his attention on slapping a bitch.

You misspelled ecstasy.
Thanks for the fuck shack.

We call that a "soup kitchen."

Was about to say the same thing.

A little bit of ecstasy, a little bit of you and me.

Ravens just announced that he's been cut, and the NFL suspended him indefinitely, so he can't play for another team until that suspension is lifted.

The Baltimore Ravens terminated Ray Rice's contract today after a video emerged of the running back punching his then fiancee in an Atlantic City hotel elevator.
The NFL followed up by suspending Rice indefinitely, which would prevent another team from picking him up. Earlier in the day, the NFL said it had never seen the violent video before it suspended him for two games earlier this summer for domestic abuse.
"We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator," the NFL said in a statement today. "The video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today."
Within hours of the video's appearance on TMZ.com, Rice's team, the Baltimore Ravens, tweeted, "The Baltimore Ravens terminated the contract of RB Ray Rice this afternoon."

So, slap a woman and get fired. Participate in the stabbing murders of two men and get a statue of yourself outside of the stadium and a lucrative t.v. job.

Bingo.
Ray Lewis should be in jail.
-
Lewis was a better player.
-
Bingo.
Ray Lewis should be in jail.
Probably so.
But there is a difference in participating in the murder and obstructing evidence/lying to police.
-
Damn. He should have driven drunk and killed somebody. He'd be back in the league quicker.
NFL is being run by dimocrats. Whichever way public opinion is blowing, they hit that hard.
Besides. Maybe his woman likes being knocked around. Its not like he raped her before winning the Heisman...
There is a lot of inconsistency going around when athletes are involved in these types of matters.
-
Lewis was a better player.
Walter? Of course he was. No one has questioned this.
-
Walter? Of course he was. No one has questioned this.
I think he was half Cherokee, half Creek, and half Choctaw.
-
I'm rethinking my entire stance on this. The media once again has blown this shit way out into the court of public opinion.
Irregardless of the fact that he knocked out his soon to be wife, something he should have gone to jail for.
So he knocks her out, she forgives him, her family forgives him, no charges are brought against him. She marries him. The league sends down it's punishment of 2 games ...whatever.
Now after the video comes out they ban him, for what? Something they already knew took place? There were no charges brought against him. What makes the NFL judge, jury and executioner? If they felt that way off the bat then they should have banned him then.

People have been taking to Twitter with the hashtags #WhyIStayed and #WhyILeft to bring forth their stories about domestic violence.
Because Twittering will make the world a better place.
Anyhoo, DiGiorno saw the #WhyIStayed hashtag and, without knowing the context of it, thought it'd be a great way to advertise their "not delivery" brand pizza:

People were not happy about this, so DiGiorno apologized:

Guess that's what you get for jumping the gun in the heat of a Twitter-battle.

As with most things, there has been a rush to judgment over this incident. All we really know is what we see in the video. There is no audio available and people are mostly blaming Rice.
How do we know that she didn't backtalk or refuse to make a sammich? There are two sides to every story.
-
It's a private matter - PERIOD.
NFL = bunch of douchebags. Reactionary and PR'ing "cover their asses" douchebags. Goodell is a fucking liar. There was no hard stance in place when it happened. Now the NFL is in damage control. Rice was wrong. His wife has forgiven him. They are in counseling. He's dealing with his employer over it.
NONE OF ANYONE ELSE'S BUSINESS!

Unfortunately for Rice, 35% of NFL fans are women. That means the brand takes a huge hit.
Dollas be driving!

I call BS on that, it wouldn't have affected shit. People would have still gone to the games. People would have bitched and moaned about it for 3-4 weeks and moved on to something else.

I wish the league would just go ahead and ban the Saints and their cheating ways.

If there were any backlash at all NFL would solve it by "allowing" teams to wear "black eye purple" accessories for domestic violence awareness campaigns.
-
Also, a large number are queer.
but what about the damn jews
-
but what about the damn jews
As long as they eat Andouille and don't wear the funny hats, I think they are allowed.

Fucking ESPN....
So Jason Whitlock says to stop showing the video. Unless you need to show it.
ESPN's "SportsCenter" stopped running the elevator video Tuesday morning, and likely won't use it againunless there is a new, specific news reason to do so. ESPN.com also has chosen to no longer feature the video. Other TV networks were still using the video liberally Tuesday evening, and so were plenty of web sites and blogs.
rest of story here: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11499192/stop-showing-ray-rice-assault-video-survivor-says (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11499192/stop-showing-ray-rice-assault-video-survivor-says)
tldr version: Janay Rice is a victim replaying the video over and over hurts her.

fudgeing ESPN....

The Media citing responsibility to the victim is awesomely ironic

I'd abuse Airhart. Just saying.

Ray Lewis murdered people. And he's a great leader, a sure Hall of Famer, worthy of being hired by ESPN.
Michael Irvin snorted 800,000,000 kilos of cocaine. Last Tuesday. And he's a great NFL player, Hall of Famer, worthy of being a commentator.
This guy? He had enough of her mouth. Was obvious from the video that she was advancing on him in a threatening manner. Should he have smacked her? Probably not. BUT, the whole "knocked the fuck out?" HE didn't knock her out. He just got her away from him. The rail in the elevator is what conked her.

The elevator company really should have padded rails. You bring up a very good point. And this young lady needs some work on blocking a left hook. Ray helped teach her.
-
I'm just glad it wasn't a cop that kicked her ass for a change.
-
HE didn't knock her out. He just got her away from him. The rail in the elevator is what conked her.
This is actually a very good underrated and not talked about point. And yes it matters. Changes the entire perception.
Big difference in me slapping you away when you are coming at me vs me knocking you out cold with a closed fist. Not that either is right but its a big difference. The "knocked her out cold" line simply fits the media's narrative that he's a monster and should be fried.
