I've always wondered by the official NFL website didn't have this functionality:
http://www.profootballrosters.com/2012/08/24/nfl-players-from-the-sec/
You can view players in the NFL by school, conference, etc.
Auburn is tied for 14th with 27 players on active rosters. The elder statesman of our group is, of course, Mr. Spikes...drafted in 1998.

The overall rankings you speak of:

I believe that until this last draft, we were ahead of Bama and had been for like 20 years, no? They will no doubt surge further ahead after this upcoming draft class.

It's interesting to see the dearth of Alabama players from 2003-2008 while most of Auburn players are from 2003-2008.

Take away the '12 class, and Auburn has 24 and Bama has 22.
Not sure how many Auburn and Bama players retired or got cut after the '11 season, but Heath Evans, Lee Ziemba, and Darvin Adams come to mind immediately.

Remember where we were talking about this, and saw this today.

Not proud of our standing here. Last amongst traditionally "good" SEC teams. Right above SC & Arky, who are right above the newbs, the Mississippis & UK & Vandy.
Last year killed us in these standings. This year will too.
