Title: Jeremy Johnson And Other Tidbits
Post by: Snaggletiger on June 18, 2012, 01:59:55 PM
Listening to sports talk a few minutes ago and they said Carver, led by JJ, won the 7 on 7 tourney out of 48 teams this past weekend.  I imagine his teammates had to bail him out, what with all those short passes and horrible footwork. Also said Dee Liner was in Tuxalooza at an OL/DL camp. My stomach turned.  They had some quotes also from 5* 6'4" 280 Montravious (sp?) Adams and how he met with Lord Saybinz and Turdy Smartz.  Said he will announce in the Fall and it's between Auburn, USCw, The Evil Empire and I believe Go Gaytah.

Btw, Coach midget told Montavius Adams that they run a (4-3) version of the (3-4)...this coming a few days after Adams was quoted as saying that he doesn't want to play in a 3-4 type system, because he doesn't see himself as a Zero Technique type of DT.

If he would've said that he wanted to play Kicker or Punter, Coach midget would've told him that his Defense has a Kicker & a Punter position open.

So, you're saying Saybinz told him what he thunk he wanted to hear?

And the local media praised him for being the first coarch to do so.

a (4-3) version of the (3-4)

I've heard of this.  It's also called the:

Yugo version of the Ferrari

Cropduster version of the GV

You know, the mutually fucking exclusive opposite of the other thing.

Coach Brawny Stache countered by telling all the D-Linemen that we run a 11-0 version of the 4-3 and all the D-Backs that we run a 0-0 version on passing downs.  Linebackers are just told they can have all the raw meat and steroids they want.

Um, in reality, not quite the same as your analogy.  And, Saban's version of the 3-4 employs elements of both defenses.  Almost nobody runs a true 2 Gap 3-4 anymore.

Killjoy.
