that one of their own would do something like poisoning the two Live Oak trees that're over 130 years old?  Think again.

Here's a few snipets from their retarded fanbase...

Quote
rolltider13- "I hate them and the tress dying is the funniest thing Ive seen since the first time I watched the movie Dumb and Dumber..."
"...i just wish more of our fans would put there money were there mouth is and take action like this guy did to hurt the barn...."

Hardrockbama- "...crying over a stupid dead tree. A tree at Home Depot costs 10 bucks. This is pathetic..."

bamabilly- "...stupid barners will have to find a new tradition now that we got rid of their stupid tree."

ergopropterhoc- "...I’m glad one of our people finally had the balls to put an end to their BS tree rolling. I guess they all just have to play with their cows after games now."

Fuck Them ALL...Rws & Token, your fanbase is showing its true inbred, ignorant colors...and the Country is seeing how sad of a fanbase SPuat actually has.

Heard some on Fbomb trying to seriously compare it to the sticker on bahrs statue, the jersey taped to it, or the grass seed of 28-27.  All criminal acts they say.  Wrongheaded bammer logic as usual, and Paul lets them spew unchecked.

This is the September 11th of the Auburn-Alabama rivalry.

Just like after September 11th, I had to make a conscious effort to remind myself that the hateful extremest Muslims that committed the crime that affected me emotionally were not reprisentative of all Muslim people.

It was hard for me to look at any of the bammers at my work yesterday, despite them being of the rare congenial breed. My visceral instinct was to inflict pain on them, just for being bammers.

Belive it or not, despite the fact that I know a few decent Bama fans, this is harder. I didn't have Muslim extremists showing up on my bookface feed with comments like "Shouldn't have put that Cam jersey on the Bear, barners! Maybe if you pour some Cammy Cam juice on the tree it will grow again! Lol"

I don't want to hear "Harvey Updyke is not representative of the Alabama fan base". Bull. Fucking. Shit. He is the cookie cutter prototypical mold of a bammer. Look at his pictures and the fact that he named his two children Crimson and Bear and tell me who the fuck he represents? He is the Alabama fan base defined. The ones who are truly outraged and embarrassed (and aren't just paying lip service while barners are listening) are the exception to the rule, not the other way around.

The twin towers were just buildings. They can be rebuilt.

There are a lot of people I can take the holier than thou speech from right now. You and Chizad are not in that group. More so you than Chizad.  Make no mistake, had something epic happened relative to a UA landmark, you would be one of the first posting farks and laughing hysterically. You don't have any more respect for the other side than our retarded-ass fans. For all intents and purposes, you are part of the problem with this rivalry.

I agree that what happened is total bullshit, and it is embarassing that somebody would do something that stupid simply because he doesn't like Auburn. However, you need to check your own shit before you go painting with such a broad brush.

This may sound gay, but this is how I see it. Really.

Alabama fans are kind of like the grinch that stole Christmas. The grinch thought that just because he stall all the people's presents, that he would ruin their Christmas. He thought that surely the presents were the reason that everyone was happy. Wrong. He didn't realize that the presents had nothing to do with the spirit of Christmas.

Alabama fans can laugh about taking our trees. They think this will kill the celebration and kill the spirit and tradition that we have had for generations. Wrong. We will still celebrate in the streets. You can kill our trees, but you can't kill our spirit. You can never take that from us. Fuck them.

Do I get to pick which one?

Seriously though, it is ridiculous that shit has gotten to this point. Fuck, its almost not even a rivalry anymore. Rivalry assumes that there is some sort of respect there, and there just isn't. I can deal with taking lumps from respectful fans. There are plenty of them. But I'm not taking it from people I consider lumped in with our fans. This shit is ridiculous. It takes more of an effort to be a total fuckhole than it does just to be a good sport. I don't get it.

Do you realize that you just quoted Jimmy Rane?  Well...except that he added "and as Can once said, 'We Comin'" to the end instead of fuck them.
I was actually somewhat impressed when I heard him.

No. I was talking to my dad last night and he made that comparison. I thought that was pretty smart for him. I guess he got it from Rane.

It is a good comparison though...

I said it in another post. If this rivalry wasn't the most heated before, it sure as hell is now. I would even put it up there as more heated as most religious rivalries at this point.

Every fan base has their idiots, no doubt. But, with this case, what pisses us off is that we are hearing so many bammers say that these were just fucking trees. Of course, first it was finding out what happened and by whom but now its the total disregard and nonchalant attitude from a large bammer contingency. I could go deeper into my personal feelings about this as everyone can or does, but I'm not because I really don't want to be pissed off today.

Like it or not, Al from Dadeville is the face of he bammers now.  Now, its prooer retaliation to kill a 130 yr   old landmark in exchange for putting a sticker on bahrs stachoo, or hanging a jersey on it...so say many of the bammer nashun when they hit the innerwebs and airwaves.

I actually loved his quote, but directly afterward, Finebaum questioned the fact that a guy who "kills trees daily" could say something like that.

Let's just say that my television barely survived.

This X10

Despite the sentiments of many on here, I refuse to paint the entire Bama fan base with such a broad brush.  I had a conversation last year with a buddy, before any of this ever happened, and said if the sight of the rival team's flags flying, gear being worn, talk of their team/school...whatever, makes your blood boil, then you need to look for employment opportunities in another part of the country. It goes on 365/24/7.  That's the way it is here.  But regardless of the venom like these coments that you WILL find from a minority percentage of their fan base, I still maintain that most of them...and our fans, are reasonable, rational, normal people.  You may not like the school they pull for or the "Traditions" they claim, but whatever.  Get the fuck over it or move to another state.

Last night, I went in a store owned by a good friend of mine who is an avid Bama fan.  The guy was literally apologizing and said how ashamed he was to find out this was done by one of his fan base.  I'd like to believe most of them feel that way.  But, if you look hard enough at their message boards, you'll find the anonymous scum who point and laugh.  If you listen to Finebaum, yes, you're going to hear the Shanes and Charles' from Reeltowns, Tammy's, Legends etc.  That's what that show is for.  But let's not be too hypocritical here.  This morning I heard on our local sports talk show that this guy's daughters, precious Crimpsum and Bahr, have already received death threats.  Really???  Seriously??? Death threats???

Could be lying but I seriously doubt it.  Go back and read the comments on just this board alone since word came out and it's almost scary.  I have no doubt we have our own set of fans dumb enough and angry enough to do just that.  Hell, we threatened our own kicker's life after he missed those field goals at LSU. Am I mad as hell about this incident? Hells Yes!!!  I've been going to Toomer's Corner longer than some of you have been alive.  However, I'm far more depressed about it than I am mad.  There are going to be those Bama fans that cross the line and if it's done around me, I'm not going to let it slide.  I promise you that.  But I'm also not going to alienate every Bama fan I know, which would make life pretty tough if I tried to do that.

My pitchfork is still blazing.

This is like Pearl Harbor or 911 to me.  Not going to change.

I've never in my life known an Auburn fan to initiate shit.  I never think of them at all until the taunting and the bullshit starts.  Yeah, when we play I want to beat them.  But if it were left up to US I honestly believe we could peacefully co-exist.

THEY DO NOT WANT PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE.

Just like Muslims, you crack them open and you find the same nugget of hate boiling inside.  All don't express it outwardly but it's part of their religion.  They are SUPPOSED to hate us.  Born and bred that way.  Our destruction is their life's work.

We could co-exist because we almost all have a direct relationship to Auburn.  We went or our family did.  I didn't go, but my uncle, my aunt, my dad, my brother, my sister and my daughter went.  I'm the idiot.  But I love Auburn for what it means to all of them and I understand it in that way.

Most of them don't.  They have football and hate.  And that's it.

Here's the core of it, guys.

If we take this.  If we accept it as the action of a lone gunman.  If we allow the entire Bama fanbase to squirm away while they make jokes and take cheap shots we will have lost far more than a couple of beloved trees.

We cannot maintain our usual decorum.  We cannot once again be the smiling good sports while they shit on everything that matters to us.  We just can't.

Some laughed at me when I compared our battle against Alabama to the Civil Rights Movement, but it's not far off.  Because we are good sports, because do have class, because we do behave (for the most part) with dignity, we allow them time after time to stomp on us.  We are the "bigger man."

I'm telling you with all earnestness, the time to be "the bigger man" has passed.

The Germans took the high road and got Hitler.
America took the high road as hostilities increased in Europe and got Pearl Harbor.
We took the high road when it came to the Middle East.  We got 9-11.

FUCK THE MOTHERFUCKING HIGH ROAD.  It's over.

It's a war.  W.A.R.  We can be Poland if that's what you want.  It's not what I want.

Ok, I'm as pissed as the next sane man, but you do realize that Hitler killed 6,000,000 Jews and 9-11 involved the death of nearly 3,000 people, right?  Bringing things up like this in comparison to some sicko desecrating a historic landmark is really reaching and makes you sound like a certain Bama coach who compared a loss to ULM to Pearl Harbor.

Quite frankly, spewing this kind of crap makes you sound about as out of touch as Updyke and completely wrecks the point that you are trying to make.

Quite frankly, spewing this kind of crap makes you sound about as out of touch as Updyke and completely wrecks the point that you are trying to make.

You can draw paralells without saying the events are the same in terms of importance or equal in tragedy.  Dont fall in to that ols trap.

You, fucking little piece of bammer shit, have no clue about me.  Everyone now knows what your fanbase is all about.  Y'all want to talk about Auburn having Little Brother Syndrome...yeah, you AND your fanbase takes the entire cake in that department.  Your fanbase is the lowest level of Trash in the Country.  That's the only Tradition that is originally y'alls.  The "they were going to die anyway" coming from you (I'm putting you in with all of the trailer park inbred bammers, because that's were you belong) is the same as saying that all bammers should be killed be any means necessary, because "they were going to die anyway".

I'm not denying we have our fair share of idiots in the fanbase. Whether it's mostly, half, a quarter, or whatever.....I don't know. We can debate that all day long. Not that it rights the wrong done against AU and it's fans, there is a group called Tide for Toomer's that, as of 30 minutes ago, has raised over $15,000 in 24 hours to go towards the trees. I imagine that fund will continue to grow as well. Of course, I don't know the breakdown on how many donors are UA fans.

Put me into whatever group you want. You're a moron. And, just as I like to think that the fuckstick who poisoned the trees isn't representative of our fanbase, I know you certainly aren't representative of AU's fanbase.

We do know the difference right. Listen, when I moved to this area, I thought for damn sure that Auburn would be the predominant team of choice but its not. Believe me, there is a fair share of bama fans in Eufaula AL, just 50 minutes south of Auburn. But, since this shitty act, I have not heard one, ONE, bama fan make a negative comment towards our trees. Although I have tested the waters in my outspoken opinion about the matter there has not been one bama fan test my waters. I even took a piece of 2x4 and wrote Harvey Updike on it and placed it right outside mt office in the main walkway begging for conversation about the matter. I have received a total of 6 out of at least 40 people with balls enough to ask about this. Out of those 6, 5 bama fans and 1 uga fan; all of which has some pretty interesting things to say and none of which were negative towards AUburn.

Now, its the bammers that you hear on the forums or radio waves or in the offices that hide behind something to vomit their opinion. Those are the mutherfuckers I want to plant my foot in their mouth.

Hyperbole is my palette.  Even so, I get the "turn the other cheek" concept.

But seriously.  How many times are we supposed to do it?  Even Jesus said 70 x 7 was enough.  We passed that years ago.

Being the bigger man only works when it's not a war.  Yeah this one fool was misguided and misdirected.  His public ignorance might, in fact, force them to scale back just a little to let some time pass.

The fact remains, however, that those at the highest level of their hierarchy and in the deepest darkest heart of every Bama fan I know (and god help me, I know a lot of them) burns a steadfast desire to see Auburn burn.   Most (not all) of the bans that I know consider every Auburn win, every individual accomplishment, every team achievement, every title, every success to detract from what they are.  Attention we gain is attention taken from them.

Yes. I hate Alabama.  I make no bones about it.  But only because I've spent my entire life trying to counsel myself to be the "bigger man" and done the same with my own kids.  I've lived by the mantra that "they will get theirs, just let it pass."   And I let all but the most egregious affronts slide right by.

We've essentially dominated them for the last 30 years.  Controlled them for most of my life. But it hasn't slowed the constant barrage of arrogance and insolence.

At what point are we out of cheeks?  Seriously?

Well, I think you would probably hear a lot people in this region make that comparison. In my own experience, the bama fan is like a co-worker of mine that is good for some fun banter but is level headed when the issue is serious. On the other hand, the bammer is another co-worker of mine that will whisper in the corners to anyone willing to listen, flowing shit from his mouth any chance he can get. He doesn't fuck with me too much anymore because I called his ass out in front of a crowd. I do know the difference. I will agree though, there are quite a few bama fans that have now crossed over to fucktard bammer. For me, War is just being more vocal in our stance as an Auburn family and what we believe in. To call out the the fucktards when their stupidity comes out of their mouths. I'm not into going over the lines of the law though because I have a family that depends on me. And there is the difference, a bammer like Updike just doesn't give a shit what he has done to his family. His hatred came before everything else that really matters in life. I will not stoop to that level but I will make damn sure that all bammers will not know not to bring their stupid shit around me.

Don't think you've ever heard me call for anyone to do anything illegal and/or unethical.  In fact, my best plan for response is in organization, stressing the positives Auburn has to offer and making sure that those who treat us with disrespect or disdain know on no uncertain terms that we do not intent to accept their abuse passively any longer.

I'm not talking about burning buildings, setting fire to cars or driving an Africa truck through campus with a .50 cal mounted in the bed.  Not seriously anyway.  Facetiously, yes.  In the interests of hyperbole, yes.  Seriously?  Good lord, if you think I'm really out shitting on cars (haven't done that since I was 18) and punching babies...

I have walked out of stores when clerks shot off their mouths.  I've had a few verbal confrontations with moronic bags of douche, but I've never once in my life initiated those.

Being nice to them and doing the same old "yassa, massa" shuck and jive I've seen for far too many years just won't cut it any more.   I'm guilty of it, too.  Often the only Auburn fan in a gaggle of their kind I've endured the persistent and demeaning stream of bullshit.  And I've smiled and eaten it.  Sucked it up, been the bigger man and shrugged it off.

I will tell you this, though.  Any of my friends or family who are Bama fans (and that is a large number) who attempt in any way to excuse, justify or derive amusement from the tree poisoning?  I'm done with them.

Kind of hard to raise money if no one knows you are raising money.  Just sayin'...

And FTR, the money from the Tide for Toomer's website is going DIRECTLY into the Toomer's Trees and Tradition Fund - these bammers worked with the Auburn group to link PayPal accounts.  So no Tide people ever touch the money.

Remember how the Hawg fans made a donation to the Auburn guy who got his Tiger Tail torched?  They certainly did not have to do that - they didn't vandalize the van.  But they wanted to make amends on behalf of their fanbase.  A Tiger Tail is not a Toomer's tree, but the analogy is sound.  Just a different group of rival fans.

Really is a more of an in general statement an thinking out loud. Believe me, I have thought of some pretty sinister stuff to do in revenge but thats where it has stopped. To be honest I have mixed emotions about this Tide for Toomers thing. A part of me thinks its actually someone trying to do good. The other part of me just thinks its some trying to save face now that this whole thing has gone national. I just wonder if Tide for Toomers would have even been started if this whole ordeal would have stayed local. On the other hand, while it is a more serious of an issue, I can't help but think about the Shon Colman tribute fund. I know that the situation is different but it did bring real genuine people out of their comfort zone to support the young man.

Some of you are like a bunch of fucking inconsolable children.

I'm sorry one of our dumbass fans killed your trees. I think it was a horrible thing to do. In no way do I endorse it. I'm sorry for the idiots that think he did a great thing. I wish the whole thing hadn't happened in the first place, but it did. There is nothing we can do about it now. I can't change it. But there are some of us out there, no matter how insignificant or irrelevant it may be now, who are trying to do something to try and help mitigate this wrong done by one of your own. It won't bring the trees back, it doesn't lessen the severity of what happened, and it won't undo the wrong done, but it's something. I'm not saying you should give us a pat on the back, or forgive what was done, but for fucks sake.....some are trying to do something. And now, we're a bunch of assholes for doing that too.

To those of you that can appreciate what some of us are trying to do, I'm still sorry that one of ours would try to take something from you and yours that you hold dear. It doesn't fix anything, of course, but I don't know what else we can do aside from drawing and quartering the dumbass who did it.

FUCK YOU.

Again you clearly illustrate that the average Tide fan has no concept of tradition. None.

What's the allowable time for anger when a decades-old tradition has been besmirched and destroyed by a hated rival in one of the most classless displays in sports history?  I'm sorry if everybody didn't get over it fast enough to suit you.

FUCK YOU AGAIN.

Yeah some of your base is making an effort. Maybe they truly feel bad about what happened.

I bet there were some Japanese in Hiroshima who regretted Pearl Harbor,  too.

Before some of you freaking Jimmy Carter's and Neville Chamberlains shit your pants I clearly understand the difference in magnitude between Pearl Harbor and Toomers.  Both, however were overt acts of aggression carried out without reasonable  provocation.  Therein lies the correlation.

So tell me. How long can we be pissed?  Some of you fucking assholes still claim righteous anger over something that never happened 30 years ago when emperor Bryant descended from earth.

Fuck you.  And shut it.

FUCK YOU.  ...etc.

You completely whiffed this one, K.  Did you even read past the first line of his post?  He was not saying that us being upset over the trees made us like unconsolable children.  He was saying that we scream about about how classless bammers are, and then when some of them try to do something nice and show a little class, we scream about how we don't want their money because they don't really want to help, they are just trying to make bammer look good.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

THAT was his point.
Sometimes I'm not very clear in what I say, but thanks. That was my point. I don't blame you guys for being pissed off about what happened. I'm not telling you not to. My only point is some are doing maybe the only thing we can do at this point.

There is nothing wrong with that at all, but I think some may have doubts about the motives behind the Tide for Toomers action considering it all came about after the national media got involved. Honestly, I believe there are a lot a good bama people out there that do give a shit. That was kind of my point earlier, bringing up the diff b/w bama fans and bammers. It the bammers that I think we all want to punch in the face.

Yes they are.

I read it. All of it.

We should get past it. They are trying. What else can they do?

Sorry. I go it all.

Fuck him. I'll be angry as long as I decide to be.  And no, there isn't a damn thing they can do now.  Fuck anybody who tells me how I should feel or when I should be able to accept their bullshit pandering.

All it will take is for one bammer fan to say, "paawww they rollin our tree, ain't that right pawww?"  Then Paul will respond with, "Yup....next caller."

Auburn doesn't need your money.  If you're doing this to make amends, just stop and stay the fuck out of our way...keep your $22,000 raised by 28,000 people and go buy another Dodge Charger for one of your new players.  Also, stop saying "Auburn brought home the National Championship for the State of Alabama"....FUCK ALABAMA!!!  Fuck the University, it's fans and the entire Goddamn State.  I do wish Auburn was located in West Georgia.  Just about all season long, the Auburn fans had to take it, rammed balls deep, while the SPuat media (papers, TV, radio) grinned from ear to ear....So, again Auburn didn't win the National Championship for the State, Auburn fans don't need SPuat's fucking sympathy & they don't need their money, they just need the bammers to go back in their little hole & stay the fuck out of our way.

Rws, I Am A True Auburn Man.  So, tell ALL of your inbred, retarded, trailer park friends to save their ¢.80...it was a nice gester, but, no...We Got It, the small % of good fans get run over by the stupid ones, because the stupid ones are the loudest.

I understand what you're saying, but damn man. It was on the front page of foxnews.com the day after it was announced that the trees were poisoned. I would imagine it takes a few days for AU to verify the legitimacy of the group, hand over account info for the PayPal account to be linked to, etc. Those of you trying to spin it in a negative light are just trying to rationalize in your minds a way to be hateful towards people trying to do the only thing we can at this point. Be pissed off all you want. You have every reason to be. But, be pissed off at the right people.

Oh, so we should be pissed off at Louisiana Tech fans.  Now I get it.

Your entire post -- despite the misguided defense of some on here -- was essentially that it's over, you hate it for us and wish it hadn't happened,  but nothing can be done.  We should move on or at least just be mad at that one guy.

Sorry.  No dice.  Your fucking inbred culture spawned that guy.  So I'll hang on to my anger a while longer, thank you.  And I sure as fucking hell don't need a bama fan to explain to me how I should handle it.  Tell you what, if somebody burns down Dreamland and takes the same torch to the Houndstooth on the Strip, I'll wait two days and then tell you how pathetic you are for still being angry that somebody would do such a thing.

I said it before and I'll say it again.  I wasn't pissed off at the little Japanese children who lived in Nagasaki.  But I would have danced in the streets after the bomb went off if I'd been alive then.

Damn. I guess I should hate all Muslims. I guess all black people should hate us both.....the Japanese should hate us too. I suppose I should automatically hate everybody north of the Mason-Dixon. I should hate all people with different religious beliefs. Same justification, and same narrowmindedness that has plagued humanity for centuries.

Why would I be angry if AU fans retaliate? I'm sure it's coming. We only have our own people to thank.

You and I, aside from college football, look at the world fundamentally different. Simply put.

We won't retaliate.  It's not what we do.

Do you hate everybody in Afghanistan?  Well, I guess we should bring the troops on home then.

Did you hate all the people in Germany? Vietnam? Korea? Russia?  We sure could have saved a lot of time, effort and people if we'd just let everything slide.

I know you're too stupid to form your own opinion here, and simply rely on those on the internet to form one for you, but I would like to point out a few things.....

1. As of 2pm today, there were ~1,600 contributions that totaled more than $32,000. Nothing Earth-shattering, but it's a bit more than $0.80 each. At this point, those 1,600 people have raised more for this than 92,000 gave for a charity at one of the A-Day games; which we were also chastised for.

2. Gesture.

3. You're not even informed about what you're pissed off at. You haven't looked into it anymore than what you heard on some message board. And your last paragraph? Now, that's just fucking ironic.

Yeah, Prowler, you're so much better than us. You're certainly showing me. I refuse to accept that you are the model of a true Auburn man, because I know better.

Yeah...those are my opinions.  Fuck SPuat & fuck the entire State of Alabama.  When you have the media of Alabama taking shots at Auburn about the poisoning of Toomer's Oaks, but in the same breath say that it's great that Auburn brought home the National Championship for the State.  Also, with the way they all bashed, some still do, Cam Newton...then say that it's great to have back-to-back Heismans for the State.  Fuckin' Puhlease, I don't want SPuat to have anything to do with Auburn's restoration.  Again, I appreciate the gesture but stay the fuck outta our way, we don't need your help and we don't need to see any kind of credit going to SPuat when Auburn restores what your inbred fanbase tried to destory.  We can't help it that your University doesn't have any kind of game traditions that haven't been stolen.

Here is the deal. Most Auburn fans, yes even the leveled headed ones, are cautionary at this point. Auburn fans are pissed and it is best for the bama fans to just live and let live. For those of your fan base, you know the bammers, they can all suck a goat dick. This whole generous act may very well be exactly that but let not it be the bama or bammers to tell the Auburn fans to chill. Fuck that, folks are pissed. You know, of all of Arkansas' opponents, I've never wished anything negative towards y'all, except when we compete against each other, because y'all have always been a classy bunch of phuckers.  I came over here to say that I understand that they just weren't trees and offer my support.  I consider what the doosh-canoe did to be the same thing as feeding rat poison to Big Red.  And, to put it in terms that the d.ick-licking bummers that lurk around here will understand - When you run another man's trot line, don't act all surprised and shemp if you get shot.  Some lines are expected to be crossed and some aren't.

With that said, I gotta ask.

...America took the high road as hostilities increased in Europe and got Pearl Harbor....

Really?  Bluto was really right when he said the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Before you start telling me to go phuck myself and throw other invectives my way, I get what you're trying to say.  It's not really supported by history, but I get that you were extremely angry and blowing off steam at that time.

However, I hope that you will go back and re-evaluate some of the things you've posted in this thread.  And even though you say you're only correlating, not comparing, Phuck-butter's actions to Pearl Harbor, because they are both overt acts of aggression, carried out without reasonable provocation, you lose the high ground when you try to insult those trying to reason with you by calling them (and probably me after this) "you freaking Jimmy Carter's and Neville Chamberlains"  Before we go any further, I'm gonna ask you to go back and re-read that.  I'll wait.  Now, does that really make any sense?  Jimmy Carter = Neville Chamberlain?  Really?  Well, getting into that would just hijack this thread, so we'll forge on.

Dude, you're angry, you say you're going to hang onto it, and I'm the last one that will tell you to let it go (oops - didn't mean to tell you how to feel).  You also say that you won't retaliate, and I think that's what has clouded your thinking.  You need to channel your anger and focus it all on an act of retaliation.

Putting all of your other comments together, the first thing I thought of was you breaking Charlie out of Corcoran and having him stinkhole Al's whole family in front of him, and getting him to go back for seconds on Crimson and Bear, after putting some of those Clockwork Orange eye thingamagigs in his eyes.

But that's probably not practical, so what is?  Personally, I don't know.  Besides, you phuckers are the mother fathering rocket surgeons.  I'm sure one of you OG Damn NASA interns can come up with something that is not only impressive and non-destructive, but also steers clear of drawing the attention of Homeland Security.  If not, this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

Either way, be sure to write "EAT ME" on the side of your response.

I'm out.  I gotta go oil the hinges on my screen door.

Two words: Axis Alliance

Look, my question to Kaos about his statement that the US's taking the high road in Europe led to Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor was more of a WTF thing than an intent to hijack this thread thing.  And the same applies here.  But I'll answer your question.

Do you honestly think that I would make the statement I did and not know about the Axis Powers?  I'm not as well versed in history as I wish I were, but I do know enough to know that Japan didn't attack Pearl Harbor because the US's policy regarding Europe was "hands off."  The US was about "hands off" of Europe as Jenna Jameson would be if she was at a picnic with Peter North and John Holmes, and everybody knew it.

What are you going to question me about next?  If I know that Teddy Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor before it happened, but let it happen anyway so the US could join the war.  If I know that WWII was orchestrated by the Mason's at a secret meeting at Spahn Ranch to insure that Gerald Ford would become President in 1974?  If I know about the CIA using the Mena Airport to import C-130's full of Coke into the US during the 80's?  (Actually, that one's true.  Googlize Barry Seal.)

I'm done with this.  I want to see some more Alabama hating.  Especially from Kaos.  As strong as his hate is, he's got to be a member of the Hater Players Club.

Hate!  Hate!  Hate!

I'm out.  I gotta go oil the hinges on my screen door.

Tolstoy sends his regards.

Jimmy Carter was a pacifist who believed (and believes) you can reason with an enemy honor bound to destroy you.  He refused to recognize the menace.

Chamberlain was an advocate of appeasement.  He largely ignored the events in Europe and attempted to treat Hitler as a contempary and worthy of negotiation when he was nothing of the sort.  He refused to recognize the menace.

Some here opt to ignore the menace.  They can choose a Carter mask or a Chamberlain mast from Party City.  Either wears just as well.

And yes, I'm fully aware that the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor.   Japan did.  The Japanese cast their lot with Russia, which was aligned with Hitler at the time. While the attack was not directly precipitated by events in Europe, they did indirectly push the Japanese in that direction.

As far as the retaliation?  We won't, but we could direct satellites and mirrors and carve Denny Chimes into a statue of Bo Jackson.  We could do it from space.  But Bama fans are so ignorant of their own history, they'd probably think it was Johnny Musso.

What are you going to question me about next?  If I know that Teddy Roosevelt knew about Pearl Harbor before it happened, but let it happen anyway so the US could join the war.

Get it right, bitch.  And fuck you.

I apologize.  I know that sarcasm doesn't always translate well when written and I should have gone to greater lengths to make sure that everybody knew I was attempting humor.

I know that Teddy Roosevelt didn't know that Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor before it happened.  There are some that believe that FDR knew but let it happen, but I don't include myself in that camp.

I know that the Masons didn't orchestrate WWII so Gerald Ford would become President in 1974.
I also doubt that the Masons had any planning meetings at Spahn Ranch.

I do know that Barry Seal did fly C-130's full of coke into the Mena Airport for the CIA.  This is fact.

I do hope the outcome of this whole mess is positive and Al gets exactly what he deserves.

I'll now go fornicate myself.  Hope your evening is just as pleasant.

THIS

and THIS AGAIN.

The hot rumor in South Alabama is that FloraBama posted his bail.

Surely not.

Toomer's Corner trees: Postings on Alabama message board raise new questions
Published: Sunday, February 20, 2011, 12:45 PM
By Evan Woodbery/Auburn Bureau, The Birmingham News, Press-Register, and The Huntsville Times

AUBURN -- Police believe Toomer's Corner poisoning suspect Harvey Updyke bragged about his accomplishment on Paul Finebaum radio show.

But did he or someone familiar with the case also do the same on a popular Alabama message board?
A series of comments on the Tider Insider website back in January by someone using the name "FLORIBAMA" seem to suggest knowledge of the poisoning well before the news had been released publicly.

FLORIBAMA was subtle at first, saying on Jan. 18 he did something "that will really upset the Auburn nation" and it will "make headline news."

One poster warned him to be careful, as there "are boogs among us," apparently using a derogatory reference to Auburn fans.

Later, the poster brags, "I killed their toomer tree," and references the chemical used in the poisoning. A comment asks, "ARE THE TOOMER TREES GETTING SICK YET?" on Jan. 22.

The postings take a new twist after Auburn officials publicly announce the tree-poisoning and an arrest seems imminent.

FLORIBAMA posts on the website: "An arrest has been made in this case and, unfortunately, it is no AU hoax!! Person charged with criminal mischief with initial $50,000 bond. Alleged perpertrator (sic) has initials of H U. And yes, he is an Alabama fan. Will probably be on the news shortly. I got the phone call at 3 am. I can and will tell you more later."

Later, FLORIBAMA fills in all sorts of personal details about H.U. -- Harvey Updyke -- including the fact that Updyke "lives in my small Lake Martin house" in Tallapoosa County, about 25 minutes from Dadeville.

The owner of the house in which Updyke was staying was identified in county property tax records as Howard Wayne Barnes, who went to high school with the suspect in Milton, Fla.

The posts by FLORIBAMA were compiled by enterprising fans and are now making the rounds on Internet. They made for riveting reading, but proving their authenticity for publication was challenging.

The Opelika-Auburn News, which broke the story Saturday night, found a way to do so.

In a web post from 2005 seeking game tickets, FLORIBAMA left a phone and e-mail contact. That information matches the information used by Barnes on a Milton High School alumni website. It also is the same number at which reporters were able to contact him earlier this week.

(Barnes did not return e-mails or phone calls by the AL.com Auburn Bureau yesterday).

Tider Insider owner Rodney Orr did not respond to a request for comment from the Auburn Bureau yesterday, but he told the Opelika-Auburn News that the owner of the FLORIBAMA username contacted him and said someone else had used his account.

Orr said he had not been approached by any law enforcement agency. Orr also declined to divulge the identity of the FLORIBAMA account holder to the newspaper.

Auburn police said earlier this week that they believe Updyke acted alone. Police chief Tommy Dawson told the O-A News that he couldn't comment on whether the investigation had been expanded.

Updyke was released on $50,000 bond late Friday night. He left the Lee County Detention Center with an unidentified person and flashed a middle finger at a cameraman as he was driven away.
