Title: Group/position rankings...
Post by: JR4AU on February 10, 2011, 01:09:45 AM
Auburn:

#5 RB class
#2 TE class
#4 OL class
#2 DB class

With landing Dyer last year, people seem to have lost sight of the 2 good RBs we landed this year, and don't forget the guys we landed to block for them.  If Shon Coleman keeps on the way he's going, he can join them in 2012.  Damn fine class.

Yeah?  Well...  It's Tuberville's fault!  Wait... What?

I have a hard time believing that 3 team had an overall better O-Line class than we did

This is what I was thinking. I guess Kuodjialamodongo hurt us more than I thought...

Probably had more to do with the fact that we only took 4 when everyone else took more.   I think player for player we had the best class.

Its funny if you look at that list spuat is only listed once #2 at DE.

FSU is listed
#1 at RB
#1 at OL
#1 at DT
#3 at DB

Yet bama is #1 overall, FSU is #2, and we are #7?  Yeah, that all sounds right..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but no Rivals doesn't cater to bama.

Primarily due to the numbers they signed...FSU signed like 8 good OL croots.  In fact, of the top 4, we had the fewest signees.
