For those not familiar with Social D, they're kind of a bluesy-rockabilly punk rock band.

They're newest CD has kind of a Southern Rock/Rolling Stones-ey type of vibe.

It's good stuff. You should give it a download.

Wow, I figured Ness was dead by now.  Last I saw of him was some youtube videos from '02-03 playing solo acoustic shows.  He looked baaaaaaaad.

That said, I'm excited for a new Social D album.  For those who don't know them, go listen to Mommy's Little Monster and White Light, White Heat, White Trash.  If those don't do it for you, resort to the more accessible Social Distortion, which had "Ball and Chain", "Story of My Life" and "Ring of Fire"....great, great rock and roll.

I have played guitar hero only a couple of times in my life. But when I have played it, this is by far my favorite song to play for some reason...
