Word on the boards is his family was truly confused as to what was going on when he announced AU, as they thought he was Bama bound. Supposedly they are having a family meeting right now. How accurate any of that is could be anybody's guess. Simply message board talk at this point.

Everything I'm seeing says that this is a case of telephone and misinformation. He's doing a lot of interviews and hasn't sent in his fax. I am a little pissed that J. Lee posted it as received, but in the end, it doesn't shock me.
I don't think this is going to end badly for AU.

I don't know about Kinney, but NO AU reporter has said he is rethinking anything, and if you're referring to Newberg on TV, he's just saying what he's been told. He doesn't know either.
I'm not saying it isn't true, but not everyone is reporting anything close to any "rethinking" talk just yet. The only thing out there on AU Premium sites, is that he hasn't faxed his paperwork in yet.
We'll have to see what happens.

He might switch back, which is going to be a bunch of horseshit, but when he gave reasons, and clear reasons on why he picked AU, this reeks. He didn't blurt out a mistake like the kid asking for a football over his beloved beebee gun. This kid named off the other linemen's names and pulled the "where my heart" lines.
Total horseshit if he backs out now.
