Post by: Saniflush on December 28, 2010, 08:19:22 AM
anyone hearing anything.  Corndogs are saying he is a silent commit to us and seem to be pretty damn pissed.

I've seen this on the bunker and scout, but nothing concrete.   Just a rumor at this point.   ...from all we know anyway.

Jason Caldwell commented that he thinks Hill is very high on Auburn and "might end up there", but "he hasn't done anything yet."

Most agree that he and Collins are a possible package deal.

Wouldn't surprise me. I think Auburn has a number of "silent" commitments.

Like Chop said, I think what pisses the corn dogs off the most is that if Hill is so high on Auburn...there is a really good possibility that we pull Collins too. If we do that...all hell will break loose with the corndog fan base...

Couple this with getting Greg Robinson and some of the toonces may have to have their shoe laces taken away from them.

The former LSU commit is still considering the Tigers, along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Tennessee. From that group, Hill wasn’t able to name a leader.

“If I had to name a top-two today, my two favorites would probably be LSU and Alabama,” Hill said.

Tabbed as the fourth-best running back in the country and the 41st-best prospect in the country overall, the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Hill is the top-ranked player at the fifth-annual Offense-Defense bowl. He originally committed to LSU back in September of 2009.

“I (still) love everything about them,” Hill said. “It feels like home to me. My family is there, all my teammates. LSU is up there.”

Hill took his official visit to Alabama the weekend of Dec. 3, and the Crimson Tide continue to hold strong.

“I really like what they do with their running backs,” Hill said. “Just the pro-style offense and the Wildcat, and the way they utilize their running backs talents, and I think my style is the same as their style of running back, and I think I’d be a good fit in their offense.”

Hill took a trip to Auburn the weekend of Dec. 17, and sees a good fit there as well.

“They’re up there on my list,” Hill said. “I’m not saying I’m going to commit, but they’re up there on my list.

“I had a real good time (on my visit). Met with the coaches and a lot of the players, and I felt comfortable around there. I really didn’t know they’re down to earth humble people, They’re about family and they love to pray, and there is a togetherness down there and I really like it.”

Hill says he’ll take official visits to LSU and Tennessee in January, and then make a final decision. The Volunteers are making a late push.

“Just the tradition,” Hill stated. “A lot of schools don’t have the great tradition that they do. Just the way they do things down there, and Coach (Derek) Dooley is really changing that program around. They’re really on the up and up. They had a young team this year, and I really like that and I have a great chance to play as a freshman there.”
Sounds like it's anybody's guess at this point.

BATON ROUGE - Jeremy Hill, 18, and Avery Tate II, 18, were both arrested today and charged with Oral Sexual Battery.

Jeremy Hill is a 4-star running back from Redemptorist who recently re-committed to LSU to play football.

The two are accused of pressuring a 14-year old girl to perform oral sex on them in the boys locker room at Redemptorist High School in Baton Rouge.

The incident allegedly occurred on the afternoon of December 7th. The incident was reported to police by school administration officials on January 4, 2011 when they first learned of the incident.

Both suspects are being booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison this afternoon.

This could very well be some pissed off teenager chick mad for getting turned down or something, or could be totally legit. Damaging, nonetheless.

Lol...yeah, I think Hill to Auburn is a no go now.  We'll be okay with Tre Mason/Savon Huggins & Brent Calloway.

If these kids could just steal laptops like normal kids, AU might recruit them a little harder.

Depending on how pissed the parents/guardians are,  this could be bad.  They very well could press charges.

Didn't a kid from GA not to many years ago go through this same thing?  I don't think he was an elite athlete but the kid wasn't a scrub from what I can remember.   He actually served time over it.

Yeah, but it was closer in age.  Like, 17 and 15.  And it was completely consensual.  I don't think it will matter how the parents feel.  Without knowing Louisiana's criminal code, I'd speculate the state will be the party hammering this home....not the parents.

I'm thinking that a mouth raping is not such a good idea.  There's too much of a chance of instant retaliation.  Think end of season one of "Oz".
