I set up the league. League ID is 297264. League password is tigersx.
Everyone from last year should have gotten an e-mail with an invite. Any noobs can join as well. This will be a $20 league as we have had before. Mark, if you don't want to be chairman with the new baby coming in, I understand. I can be chairman, or we can elect someone else that actually lives in Alabama.
The draft is Tuesday March 30th at 8:00. If you sign up for this league, please try to set time available for the draft. Not only is it fun, but it makes kicking your ass that much more enjoyable because you actually PICKED your shitty ass team. We may can change this if needed.

Fantasy Baseball can take as much time as you want it to take. It's pretty involved - you have to change your lineup daily (unlike football, where you change it weekly). If you don't have at least 10-15 minutes a day to spend on it, you'll probably lose interest.
I prefer it to Football mainly because it is so involved.

The scoring goes by each category, to win the point you must win each category. Hr, Rbi's, average, ect, Pitching Era, saves, wins, Whip (Walks, hits per innings pitched).

oh by the way...i don't miss the atl. the georgia aquarium is over-priced, over-crowed and not enjoyable. the hawks suck. no recycling. driving 75 to m(b)acon was not fun and crowded. don't worry x-er's this was an unexpected (late decision) trip with my 2 year old daughter for a wedding and mother's day surprise.

While he had an awesome April and May, he was having the worst June of any of my 5 outfielders. I needed the roster spot and would rather drop an older player that was piss poor in the month of June than one of the younger guys who was getting hot.
Since I dropped him he has scored less points than all 4 of my current outfielders.

As you can see, he's been in a free fall since an unbelievable month of April and May (when he was producing lots of points for me). Basically I'm betting that he continues to struggle and doesn't turn it around. If he does, I made a bad decision and congratulations to Thrilla for picking him up. But he just wasn't ever playing because my utility man is better than he was as a 4th outfielder. I needed another spot for a pitcher rather than have Wells sitting behind those other 4 guys doing nothing.

I was left for dead in last place about 5 weeks into the season (when I was without internet for 2 months due to a move), but I've been steadily making up ground since then. Ogre and I are in a great fight so far this week to claim 8th place in the standings.

I stand corrected...I finished 8th in my first year. The HGH must have messed me up last season.

If you make it to the playoff, then you have a shot at winning. That's all there is to it...all regular season standings aside.
These teams will fudge their lineups all up to preserve players for the actual MLB playoffs, making some of our lineups perform totally different in our playoffs then they typically do right now.
