Title: 1-0 War Eagle
Post by: Snaggletiger on November 14, 2009, 12:46:07 AM
I can't get the full story to pull up right now but it appears from the headlines that AU scored 11 points in the final 89 seconds to pull off a 69-65 victory over Niagra.

I have no idea what Niagra has this year but they are normally a tourney team, whether it be the NCAA or NIT.  Probably a pretty good test to start the season.

War Damn Eagle.

Well, I came here to bitch about expecting another shitty season after Auburn having to come back from 7 down under 2 minutes to beat Niagra at home...

But I will defer to you....

Fuck me I don't want another shitty basketball team...

Or baseball for that matter...this is starting to suck...bad...

On a positve note...Auburn was 25-30 from the free throw line...that's a positve and different change from we have seen with Lebo's teams...

good thing we weren't 21-30...

Not trying to make myself feel better here, but Niagara was 26-9 last year in the MAAC and only graduated ONE player from that squad.  I'm guessing they brought a pretty decent team into BEMC.
