Title: One Division. What Say You?

There's been a lot of talk about things changing when Texas and Oklahoma join the SEC.  Most notably, doing away with the East and West Divisions.  Possibly moving to 9 conference games as well.  The reasoning being that with the number of teams there will be once they join, it will most likely cause there to be too many years between match ups of certain teams.

I'm a traditionalist.  Not a fan of change in most instances, especially when it come to college football.  But, I think I could get on board with this.  I would hope that if they go to one division, they continue to let you pick a permanent opponent.  I would be pissed if we lost the Iron Bowl.  9 conference games would be good with me as well.

Thoughts?

Divisions are established, but relatively new, so I can take or leave them.

I like 9 SEC games and I do not believe that they will ever eliminate the Iron Bowl.

So...eh.  Why not?

Can we just go back to 10 teams and the bowls?  Send Arkansas, SC A&M and Missouri back to the hell from whence they came. 

I don’t like any of it.  I don’t want Texas.  Or OU.  FUCK those guys and their asshole fan bases.

New divisions

West:

Mizzou
Texas
A&M
Pigs
2 miss schools
LSU
OU

East:

Auburn
Uga
UT
UF
VANDY
UK
USC
uat

Play 7 division games and 2 out of division games...scrap the home and home consecutive years out of division format......and you play more often

Keep SEC TITLE GAME, it's a cash cow

Basically create a mini SWC and mini SEC.....division winners meet in ATL and Dallas (alternate years).....preserves a lot of traditional games.....

Ain't perfect but it works.

The "Super Conference" will probably last about 25-30 years, maybe ...  and then something else will evolve....
