Title: Bo Facing A Familiar Foe
Post by: Snaggletiger on May 09, 2022, 10:17:46 AM
Just read an article saying all indications are that Bo Nix will be the starter for the Ducks this Fall.  Oregon opens the season with FUGA, which I believe will be in Atlanta for the Chick-Fil-A Kick Off Classic.  It shouldn't be the nightmare he faced this past season since FUGA had 15 guys drafted, many of which were on defense.

On the Bo thing, I wasn't too surprised he left.  And after he announced, it was a whole lot of whatever for me.  I really wanted him to be the man and do great things on The Planez, but it was obvious that he was what he was.  A very athletic, but wildly inconsistent QB.  Maybe the change of scenery and new system will benefit him.  I hope so, and I hope he tears FUGA a new one.

On a side note, why do they still play these "exhibition" games on neutral sites.  No, they're not exhibition games, but I don't care anything about games like this being played in Atlanta and Jerry World.  Auburn opened with Oregon a few years ago. Screw Jerry World.  Make it a home and home, and bring all the revenue from a game like that to Auburn. While Athens can burn to the ground, I'm quite sure they'd much rather have that game played at home, in a bigger stadium, and all the Duck and trashy Dawg fans spending their money there, and not in Atlanta.
