I hate that Hank Aaron Stadium is going to stand empty with the departure of the Mobile... ummm... what were they again? Mystics? Bay Rays? I don't remember. I guess maybe I should have gone to some games.
Anyways... When they decided to move to Huntsville and then the city chose Trash Pandas as their mascot? Well, I was encouraged. Had a chance to do something fun, dynamic, bold -- like the name. Instead they bored the blue hell out of me with these lame duds. So much potential tossed in the trash can.

Trash Pandas is an awesome name, though. I love how Minor League teams embrace these crazy names.
A few others. It took me a minute to get used to the Montgomery Biscuits, but that's pretty cool. Some of my favorites are the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, New Orleans Baby Cakes and my favorite....the Amarillo Sod Poodles.

Name is great. Just a massive marketing whiff with the sucky merchandise. The uniforms are terrible. I was gonna get a trash panda hat just to have it. But no.
This is about the best of the bunch and it's not inspiring me at all.

It looks like a girl raccoon for starters. One with a big cheerleader bow on its head. It's got one tooth, no body and a tail with stars. It's just bad.

Amarillo Sod Poodles. BTW, I had to search the Googled Chromes and a sod poodle is a slang name for Prarie Dog. Not that this mascot looks anything like a poodle or a prarie dog.

I can’t stand the New Orleans Baby Cakes.
The Zephyrs name was much better, and even though the team name came from Denver, paid homage to the old Pontchartrain Beach roller coaster.
And the Baby cakes mascot is something out of the book of Revelation.

There used to be a minor hockey town out of Macon (ga) called the Macon Woopee.
Same town also has a minor league baseball team called the Macon Bacon. And their logo is literally a strip of bacon standing up looking mean as fokk gripping and ripping.

Ah yes the Copa De La Diversion League...great concept. Agree on the above. Flat brim I will wear occasionally but those colors are horrific.

How do you effectively bend it? I used to put a softball there and wrap it with rubber bands, but that was in the early 80s when I was looking for a deeper bend.
Plus, my big head is now partial to flex-fit. I really prefer those.
This is my current favorite. The brim curl is perfect.

you can't do a soup can/rubber band bend on flat brims because it will essentially just crease the brim. I just use my hands to curve it a bit. I'm not talking a bunch.

I am the same way with the brim curl. Personally, I love the Richardson hats. More specific, the PTS30. You can get any hat customized and the brim is so easy to bend how you want it. The hat itself is really awesome. We have used them for years now when ordering Allstar hats or travel ball.
