Auburn starts the season 4-0 with wins against Furman, Tennessee Tech, Wichita State and Marshall.
Former Coach Clint Meyers in attendance.
Both staring pitchers from last year return. Familiar names and new names will take charge in the batters box and field.

Side note, Baylor beat bama this weekend 2-0. Those two runs were knocked in by former tiger Carlee Wallace. Way to stick it to bama one more time Carlee!

The Lady Tiggers finished the Left Coast swing with a 4-2 record. (17-2 overall) Lost to Long Beach State to end the trip but they had 3 starters out for that one.

No reason to give up on em after that series. We should've won game two, and the pitching for both teams was down right nasty. If Dean can get the bats working a bit better to go along with our pitching, it could be a fun season.

Any help is good help. Although, I have found that instate, I would rather have them pay for room and board while I picked up tuition. It costs a lot more these days.

I keep getting the "financial aid package" letters from the places she's looking at. Springhill, Bham Southern, LSU, Troy, Agnes Scott, Milsaps... They're disturbing. I don't know how people do it.

It’s sucks. I got a son that just dropped out after 2 years and is in his third week of basic for the AF. I got a daughter who is a freshman at KSU still living at home. The money goes a lot quicker at KSU. The son went to a juco for two years: a lot less money! And in GA if you take an approved course, everything MUST transfer.
I’m not sure Bama has that rule.
I will say this, the boy had several baseball schollys to private colleges. But even at 50%, it was still 20k a year. Crazy money!

I'd say Bham Southern but....I'm sure you know where that is located in Bham. Troy perhaps but that area of AL sucks. To be honest though, I'd go with Troy then LSU.

Her first choice was bham Southern. No doubt. Then they invited her up to spend a weekend and completely blew it. The nail for her was a speech by the president of the college where she talked about creating “safe spaces†for students and took veiled shots at Trump and Republicans.

I agree. Not sure which part of that, though. UT was #12 so a series win is always good against that level opponent. I saw one poll that has 12 SEC teams in the top 25. Dizzam.

i was wrong. both had great seasons. same number of losses. outside of a game at aTm and Mizzou the Tigers were within a score or 2 of winning. last night was rough especially after we went 2 -1 against Bama in the season series. the batting got worse as the season progressed especially from mid March on.
not liking our chances to advance far in the post season.
