He's a fuckin stud 6'3" 230lbs. Junior...Had a feeling he would commit within a week after visiting Auburn. Now that the 2015 signing class is done for the QB position we can land the QB for the 2014 signing class (4* Brandon Harris or 4* Sean White). Either one would be fine with me. Whitebread is the more polished of the two at the QB position, Harris is the more athletic...plus Harris has a few connections to some high caliber WRs and I've heard that he has the personality of Cam Newton.

He looks like a young Jared Lorenzen

Over/Under on the number of days until he flips is set at 92.

It's a long time until February 2014.
It's a fucking eternity until February 2015.

I'm not super excited about this. I've watched the kid. My kid played against him. Not a bad player, just not sure he is good enough to run the show at AU.
His dad is his coach and he started him as a freshman even though there were others that were a bit better and mature at the time. So I am not sure he isn't a product of the system. But I will reserve final judgement till after his senior year.

So Gus is going to be switching to a pro style offense?

No. Queen is a pro-style QB that can move pretty good for his size and run the rock...

You realize Queen is a Junior...correct? Meaning he was a Sophmore last year in High School. Also, 2,600 yds passing & 23 TDs to go along with 940 yds rushing & 20 TDs, again as a Sophmore, is pretty damn impressive to a lot of D1 College recruiters.
And here's this...
"He's a big kid, big arm -- I think he weighed 236 at the Atlanta Rivals Camp, he may be 240-pounds now. He can still move for a guy his size, built to take a beating and keep going. He had nearly 1,000 yards rushing last year even thought he's a pro-style quarterback. He's not a statue back there and he's a good fit in Malzahn's offense. That will benefit him. he's got a strong arm, he can really zip it in there and also has good touch on deep balls. He can lay the ball out there deep, he's not just a fastball only guy."
Landing him this far ahead gives them a marquee guy already and the guys in Georgia for 2015, they will watch him and the Auburn coaches will lean on him to talk to the other prospects in his class." - Rivals.com Southeast Analyst Woody Womack
There's a 2015 RB to keep your eyes on Jacques Patrick...another fuckin stud.

The silver lining:
If he does sign and play at AU, Uncle Sani can finally legitimately scream,"Heeeeeey, Queen!" from the stands.

You do realize he started as a freshman too, right? Helps when Daddy is coach.
I did not say he was not talented. That area is LOADED with talent right now. He has been running this same system since 7th grade. Add to that some of the studs they have been producing and he is REALLY good in this system. Would it translate to AU's system? I don't know.
My only concern here is, is he a system player or is he that good.

People can still be successful if they know the format.

If we get this kid, I'm sure we'll eventually be able to say we are the champions.
-
That's what I'm saying. I want it all.
-
He'll be under pressure at this level. But I think he can handle it because he's a killer, that Queen.

You do realize that both 1st & 2nd string QBs went down with injuries in that first game that Queen was a Freshman, right?
If his Dad is the HC that probably means he's been teaching him how to play QB since he was in little league.
Also, I hope he's a system player, because North Cobb plays in a HUNH Offense. He has a accurate, cannon of an arm...he has good speed to avoid sacks and he can read defenses. He's also 6'3" & 240lbs, oh yeah and he's only a upcoming Junior in HS (he still has a couple growth spurts left).

Bicycle, motherfuckers.

I really wish he were from Mississippi. You know what I mean?
