Title: No thoughts on Olbermann?
Post by: Kaos on January 24, 2011, 01:40:50 PM
Olbermann leaves MSNBC and nobody cares?

I liked him on SportsCenter back in the day.  Thought he had great chemistry with Dan Patrick and made SportsCenter what it is today.  At least there I wasn't subjected to his moronic political views.

As a news source, Olbermann was the absolute worst.  A total jerk and an utter clown.  No respect for him at all in his current incarnation.

Won't miss him in the least and won't watch him if I can avoid it should he return to sports.

Agree on all points.  I put him in the same category as a lot of entertainers.
Shut the fuck up and entertain me.

From way downtown... BANG.

Pretty much agree with you guys.  Loved him on the Big Show.  But fuck his politics.

Fuck him and feed him fish heads.  He is not worthy of the time it would take me to post the article I read where I found out.

You got it!  Nobody cares...

I did find his sudden departure a little surprising.  I suspect the windbag just had a meltdown and figured it would be better to disappear when nobody's watching.

Olberman is nothing to me.  He's a hack and a clown, and he tried way too hard to be a censored version of Bill Mahr.

People like him, in my world, disappear well before an official announcement is made.

This is how I feel. For the last ten years, (or so) any time his head popped up, I changed the station immediately. He is not relevant in my life. Screw him and the Rosie O'Donnell like cow he rides on.

This...just stick to what you're good at.  And yes, like K said, he was good with DP and helped really put that show on the map.

Had he stayed with sports, maybe he would have remained tolerable.

But once he openly went full on libtard, I refused to even watch him on Football Night In America when he would guest host with Patrick a few times.  **CLICK**

Sports anchor turned political talking head, that should say enough, seriously.
