Title: Brink
Post by: Vandy Vol on March 12, 2010, 02:28:05 PM
Anyone heard anything about this game?  I stumbled upon it for the first time today.  It's a first person shooter from the same people who made Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Quake Wars.  I haven't played many first person shooters since Halo and Call of Duty, and I've been reluctant to venture out to other games, but Brink's fluid free running concept seems pretty interesting.

Here are a couple of more videos which show the gameplay and explain a little more about the game itself:

Yes.  I am anxiously anticipating this game.  The new engine they have built this game on really has my interest peaked if they can get it to function anywhere close to how they are billing it.

I played the Mirrors Edge demo and was disappointed with the free running concept that they used.  The idea was cool, but the implementation seemed to suck.  I'm hoping that Brink has improved upon the manner in which you control the free running motions.  Based upon the gameplay videos, it seems that they have.
