Title: Worst TV characters of all time

My submission :

Howard Sprague of The Andy Griffith Show.

I loathe Howard Sprague. Piss poor replacement for Floyd. Just a sniveling jackhole. Who could possibly tolerate him in real life?

Fun fact:

Urkel did not appear on Family Matters until the 12th episode of the first season, and he was not intended to be a recurring character.

I don't think that show would have made it 9 seasons without him.

Warren too. Maybe Emmitt. But yes Howard was awful. Show was never the same after Knotts and McNear left yet it still got extremely good ratings until the end. The power of Andy.

Which ever one laughed so atrociously that you cringed. I can't really remember which show, because I changed the channel when that laugh started. But it left a scar for sure!
