Somehow I totally missed this thread and started another one.

As I said in that one, losing 2 to a pretty good Missouri team is a bummer to start the season off with, but nice to follow that up with an utter ass-reaming.

I don't care who you're playing.  22 runs in a baseball game is stout.  More points than Barbee's team has scored in any half this season.

In running down the roster, not a lot of familiar names.  Looks like they went the JUCO route for several players.  I think a ton of pitching came back in tact but the lineup has a lot of new names....at least to me anyway.  Maybe I wasn't paying close attention last year.

Agreed. I'm pretty confident that we could get 9 of us X'ers together one afternoon and put up a better fight than this.

Huge test this weekend.  On the road to Tuscon to play a 3 game set against #8 Arizona.

Oh...and the record is 3-2.  Get it right, damn it.  Mods?

Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come.
