Or better yet, out of MY misery - I cannot stand seeing her name as a headline anymore. Some judge needs to stone up and send her ass to jail FOR REALZ and keep her there for at least a year FOR REALZ. None of this good behavior shit. Long enough to get her name completely out of the media.
Police take alleged Lohan theft to prosecutors
$2,500 necklace was turned over to police after search warrant issued for actress' home
LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors say police have presented potential evidence in a jewelry theft case against Lindsay Lohan, but they don't expect to make an immediate decision on charges.
Los Angeles County District Attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons says police turned over the results of their investigation Wednesday afternoon. The "Mean Girls" star is being investigated for grand theft after a jewelry store reported a $2,500 necklace missing.
Detectives got a search warrant to try to retrieve the necklace from Lohan's home, but it was turned in at a substation Tuesday evening.
Gibbons said prosecutors will not decide whether to file charges against Lohan on Wednesday.
Phone and e-mail messages to Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, were not returned.
The store in Venice reported the necklace stolen on Jan. 22, roughly three weeks after the "Mean Girls" star was released from three months of court-ordered rehab that came after she admitted failing a drug test shortly after being granted early release from another treatment program.
Lohan, 24, is due in court on Feb. 25 for a probation hearing.
Lohan's frequent legal troubles, including lawsuits and two rehab stints and two trips to jail in 2010 alone, have led to the actress appearing more in court than on the big screen in recent years.
Her role as porn star Linda Lovelace in a biopic was recast while Lohan was being treated at Betty Ford.
The case of the stolen necklace is the second active police investigation that could return the former Disney star to jail if she is charged and convicted. Prosecutors in Riverside County are considering whether to press battery charges against Lohan over a December altercation the actress had with a worker at a Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox warned Lohan at a hearing last year that he would send her back to jail if she violated the terms of her probation.
The investigation into the stolen necklace was first reported by celebrity website RadarOnline.com. Police would not release additional details about the item Wednesday morning.

Somewhere inside that troubled lady, this still exists:

Maybe I should be given a chance to coax it back out of her.
