I like the background and have it on my computer now......but weren't we undefeated in 1957 also? Cause it's not listed on your perfect seasons list.

Auburn has 12 undefeated seasons. Seven undefeated and untied.
2010, 2004, 1993, 1957, 1913, 1904, 1900
1958 (Tied 1), 1932 (Tied 1) 1914 (Tied 1), 1897 (Tied 1), 1893 (Tied 2)

I'll add the 1904 and 1900 seasons even though we only played 4 and 5 games. I named it perfect though not undefeated hence leaving out the seasons where we had a tie.

I figured that, but more importantly is what AU_Tiger_2000 pointed out. 1957 was a perfect season. 10-0-0.

What I also found interesting when browsing through that is, can you imagine how irate fans would be if we had another year like 1950? 0-10.
However, that was the last year before we hired Shug Jordan.
Similarly, Alabama went 0-10 in 1955. Took them three more years to hire Bahr.

I meant 57 too

Not trying to be a stickler for your awesome wallpaper, but I'm just wondering.
Does the SEC recognize championships prior to 1992?
Curious where those came from.

Yes we have 7 SEC Championships.
SEC Champions were determined based on final records prior to 92, we won outright or shared those prior to 92, but they are still recognized as SEC Championships.

One of the reasons why Alabama has so many is that Bear was smart enough to schedule an extra SEC game every year. (Vanderbilt) So even in years when they lost one SEC game they actually would have a higher winning percentage than anyone else in the conference. ie a 5-1 (.833) Auburn has a lower winning percentage than a 6-1 Alabama. (.857).
