Title: "Operation Safe Holidays" thru Jan 10

They do this crap every year and terrorize the interstates.  Yes some do deserve tickets and Dui's but do you think there is any correlation between the BCS Title on the 10th and the deadline of the invasion?

If they would stay the he'll out of the way, the interstates would flow just fine. Stop the crazies and leave the good old fashion speeders alone.

Think MNC game party lots of drinkin then hitting the road.  Or Good Ole Boy Bear stopping a Car because of an Auburn Flag or Magnet, then hitting the taillight with his baton.

It stops 8 days before the BCS championship game.  The state's 10-39 festival will more likely affect Alabama fans driving to Orlando for New Years than it will Auburn.

Conspiracy much?  I would hope Auburn people would be smarter than to DUI. If they arent, they deserve to get arrested.

The MNC is Jan 10th the last day of the operation.

From the article you posted....

Quote
Bingham said motorists can expect to see significantly greater numbers of troopers patrolling Alabama's roadways during the Dec. 10 through Jan. 2, 2011 campaign.

Much to your dismay, the state of Alabama isn't out to "get" Auburn fans.  At least, not the DPS.

What?  You think Auburn's traveling to Arizona will cause enough of a budget shortfall that we'll have to write a few more tickets?  Worth it.

No, but I would make use of some anti-bacterial soap immediately.

Black helicopters will be patrolling the interstates looking for AU flags.
