One of the funniest acts was Will Ferrell as Jimmy Vuvuzela. At one point he said his dad was a circus clown and his mom was a bee. His sister was a bee with a regular voice. As Ferrell was leaving the stage, he threw his vuvuzela at Mark Wahlberg.

Marky Mark was a douche last night.

Andy Samberg was disappointing as that octopus.

Meyers was good though.

Marky Mark was is always a douche last night.

Andy Samberg was disappointing as that octopus.

Meyers was good though.

FTFY

Although I think teh ladies like him, he's still a douche. He got pissed about the Samberg skit on SNL "Wahlberg Talks to Animals". Said he would kick his ass if he did that skit again...and he wasn't kidding. Grow a soul Mark.

Not hot.  Not even a little bit.  Not with his underwear showing, or not in his pretend "serious actor" phase.  From certain angles, his face looks fucked up.  And the "I am a dick - hear me roar" personality only worked for Sean Penn and then only for a little while.

I may have gotten something in my eye when they did the story about the Iowa coach getting killed. The son did an EXCELLENT job with his acceptance speech. That was pure class all around that family.

My fault, I'm seeing a doctor for that.

But seriously, that was a excellent piece.  That's what I've loved about the ESPY's lately, they show why sports are important to us as people other than the competitive nature it brings out in us.

Seth Meyers... Killin' it.

Marissa Miller...SI Swimsuit Model....Complete hotness.  That is all.

Agreed on all accounts.  I can't believe you animals didn't mention the amazingness of Brooklyn Decker presenting last night though...   :boobies:

I think Ed Thomas's family winning the Arthur Ashe Award was my favorite presentation, next to a few years ago when that ladies softball team that carried the opposing player around the bases after she injured herself.  That was the winner that year for the sportsmanship award.

The ESPY's do good work, but over all I just believe it's sports doing sports proud.  Good stuff.

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

He actually was there. When it first happened, Mark was pissed - sort of. They had some verbally sparring in the media. And then - as part of Mark trying to mellow out about it, he agreed to do the skit you posted. Dude is an ahole in general though.
