Don't expect a laugh-fest. It's one of those comedies so dark that it's border-line drama because the protagonist's life is so shitty. Think Dan in Real Life or Royal Tenenbaums, but darker.

I struggled to find a movie to compare it to. It's really more like The Wrestler than anything I mentioned prior.

Finally got around to watching it tonight. Half-way through I wasn't sure if I liked it or hated it. Ended up being pretty good overall. The ending was great.

The Wrestler was a really good comparison.

I did chortle at the end though watching Oswalt running from the Philly cops.
