The only song I listen to is Gravel Pit by the Wu Tang Clan

Excellent answer.

I just popped in the new Sage Francis album, Li(f)e.  So far so good.  I'll give a full report later.

You can keep a wooden stake in your trunk
On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Thanks, Jen.  Now I am singing "I can feel you tremble when we touch" in my head this afternoon...
I actually put it on repeat on the way home Friday.  I had not listened to that in YEARS before it rolled around in the shuffle right as I got to work Friday morning.  I had forgotten how much I loved that song back in the day, when I was a bundle of virginal teenaged hormones.  That song gave me my mental image of what my "first time" would be like... and then after the actual train wreck occurred, I stopped listening to it out of profound disappointment.

I bet his version is much different.  He probably still gets high fives when he tells the tale of your tail.

Only from the perspective that he was the one to pick the lock on the chastity belt.  Back in the day I was not yet the fiery wench you have all come to know and love...

Never was a HUGE fan of REO but Roll With the Changes was an exception for me. I always liked that song.

There are a couple of REO songs that are ok, that definitely being one of them.

I find that hard to believe.
It is very true.  I was a very sheltered little Baptist girl who did not drink, swear or make out with boys because that was not what good little Baptist girls did.  Seriously.  Then I got away from home and... well... learned a few things.  Guess that is why I am 180 degrees in the other direction now...

And the music of the day is The Outfield - Voices of Babylon.  LOVE every song on that entire album.  Shelter Me is especially beautiful.
