The same neighbor that has the J-45 collecting dust walked over last night to show me the 1959 Gibson Blonde ES-330 (8 grand or so if in pristine condition) he had gotten out of his attic. Yes, he kept that fucker in his attic. It looked bad. It needed a lot of TLC. I understand they were his grandfathers and it was him that taught him how to play, but I would damned if my granddad passed something like that down to me and I didn't play the hell out of it. It's not like they go bad. Sad.
