I should have posted this under the original Weekend at Bernie's thread but the link to the original article (about Fidel being out of the public view for 17 months) was as dead as Fidel probably is; in fact I'll bet he assumed room temperature months ago and recorded some videos to release while his brother consolidates his own political power on the island.

Jimmy Carter, the NAACP and the rest of the Democrats have to be pissed right now.  We're about to see the fall of another "great bastion of communism"...  The "great society" of Cuba is about to be turned inside out as I'm certain that Raul is going to fold in no time.  The days of $15 monthly salaries are about to come to an abrupt end.  Damn Capitalism!
