For anyone wondering, we lost the first two games (and the series) against uat.

We're up now 4-0 in the top of the 5th, though.

Sucks the meeting with them in Montgomery doesn't count towards our SEC record.

18-10 overall and 5-4 in the SEC doesn't blow you away but compared to where this program usually is by now, I'll take it. Problem is, the whole SEC looks to be its usual, dominant self again.

You might want to look at stats before betting big time on things. This was only Ward's second start for the Trojans, he has been a relief pitcher all season. It was Smith's 3rd start for Auburn, so it was about equal in the pitching department. Then both teams relief pitchers that came in were about equal. In reality Troy has a better baseball program than Auburn does, evidenced by who has received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament more recently.

6-2 win over USA. 20-10 and gearing up for #3 LSU coming to town. It's time for something really good to happen to this program and a series win over #3 would be just what the doctor ordered.

Agreed. I think the one real bright spot is that this AU club has shown the ability to score in bunches. Finding a way to squeak out a series win would just be the titz.
