The Dean Dome thing was me and a friend, my preacher actually-who is a Duke grad, drove over and toured the facility.  It was several years ago and maybe things have changed, but at that time, you couldn't get down on the floor.  We went to what looked like some administrative office and began to beg and plead with the lady in there to let us on the court to take a picture.  Told her we were both UNC grads and just finished driving all the way from Ft. Lauderdale to get there.  She finally said, "Let me go see what I can do".

She comes back and says it's okay then proceeds to take us down on an elevator to the court.  We shot a few buckets with the ball we brought and took pictures.  As we went back up, I asked her if Coach Smith, since he had retired, still had an office in that complex.  She said, "Who do you think gave you permission to get on the court?"  I looked at her and held up my camera with another hurt puppy face.  She just glared and said, "Don't push your luck, you aren't getting in to see Dean Smith."

Oh well, can't hurt to ask.  It was awesome as hell just setting foot on that court.

Damn!  Great story!  Yeah it can't hurt to ask...jeez!

I understand that Dean Smith is usually there for every home game...private box of course although he was on the floor last year (at that Carolina/Wake Forest game that I mentioned earlier) along with MJ (and 10 other veteran Carolina players) for a special award presentation...as Howard likes to point out we sure are proud of our banners in the Dean Dome.  Quite frankly I think Dean Smith should have kept going a few more seasons...no offense against Roy Williams of course.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Their rats fuck pets????

I reckon that reads better as:

"...their fucking pet rats too."

My adjective placement and usage of the word modified form of fuck was misplaced in the zeal of my loathing for dook.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Now I may be an idiot, but there is one thing I am not, sir, and that, sir, is an idiot.
