They voted against the Yale graduate Lawyer who lettered in basketball & track while he was there for more of the same bullshit.

I'm moving to Montgomery in the near future. They're on their way up, and we're spiraling.

I am not sure I would make that a statement of fact quite yet.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

True, but everytime I go home, it just seems a little bit nicer than I remember it.

The riverwalk thing and the "new" downtown is looking better every day. The bar scene isn't far behind us since a lot of ours keep closing up. At least they still have Jubilee. We can't say the same for City Stages...

My top places to get out of Birmingham right now would be 1)Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC 2)Nashville,TN 3)Fairhope/Daphne, AL....I'm not ready to move back to the Montgomery area yet even though it is on the upswing.
