Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

Chizik just needs to let this one go and let some of the second teamers get some reps.

That's a HUGE NEGATIVE.  Your Head Coach should never GIVE UP....whether or not the game is over, it doesn't matter, you don't throw in the towel and give up with 5:00 left in the ball game.

Maybe. Caudle needs some reps.

We just did not show up the first half.

How many points off of turnovers?

17?

Yeah, and your starting QB is out there still taking shots and getting sacked. If he gets hurt to where he can't play, you're fucked. More so the case with AU. Who is backup QB again? You're down 18 with 5 minutes left. Its over. On that last sack, had Todd received a Tebow-esqe concussion, you would change your tune. Or if a starting OL had a season ending injury, you would be fucked. That last drive, fine. But this next drive? Down 21 now with 4 minutes left? Pull your starters. If you do otherwise at this point, its just for show.

Yeah, I think Coach Chizik should now pull the starters and let the 2nd string/walk-ons get some playing time...now that the game is over.

Hell of a game, gentleman.  Very predictable.

Really?

Birmingham's take on the AU vs Ark game: (yes I realize nobody gives a skanks twat what I think of the game)

*  Auburn is much better than they were last year.  +1 Auburn
*  Auburn's passing game should have some match ups in their favor.  +1 Auburn
*  Tennessee's Defense probably isn't as good as they were hyped.  -1 Auburn
*  Arkansas's Defense isn't as bad as they showed against Georgia.  +1 Arkansas
*  Game is at Arkansas.  +1 Arkansas
*  Mallett is probably the best QB Auburn will face all year (not counting post season).  +2 Arkansas
*  Arkansas's receivers aren't the best Auburn will face all year.  -1 Arkansas
*  Mario Fannin.  +2 Auburn
*  Ben Tate. +2 Auburn
*  Auburn is the best offense Arkansas will face the rest of the season. (not counting post season) +1 Auburn

Auburn 6
Arkansas 3

Auburn 35
Arkansas 17

HILARIOUS that you quoted this instead of quoting the thread after that titled...  "After careful thought, Arkansas is going to win by 22 points"

Here's a link, I know if must be difficult for you to find it:

Auburn played as if they were a step slower. Tackling was attrocious and the lack of depth showed badly. Bad start led to a predictable ending. The fumble at the start of the second half was a death blow as I still believed the Malzahn O could make it interesting with a stingy D but we stunk up the joint and made Mallett look like a champ.

Could be worse.....we could all be like UGA fans and calling for the Head Coach's and Defensive Coordinator's head on a platter.

Hey, so what.  We lost one on the road in the SEC.  Not unheard of.  Future is still bright, we just need some reinforcements.  Win a few more, win the bowl game and recruit well.  The sun still comes up tommorrow.

If we can keep other teams from poaching our Coaching Staff, we'll get better and better each year.

I still think Auburn will be able to beat:
UK
Furman
UGA

We'll probably split these two:
LSU
Ole Miss

IMO, the only definite loss on our schedule is against SPuat

So, my (8-4) or (9-3) prediction still looks very likely.
