I don't recall the Mouse-keteer ballroom dancer, Tiger Wench.


But, I do recall that Myron Floren (on the Lawrence Welk Show) was ALWAYS the favorite of my Grandparents (hell, I even enjoyed his accordion/polka music even as a kid).  I remember my Grandma dancing every time he played.

Good days indeed.  Good memories too.

Of course, during Wonderful World of Disney, you got those Purina Dog Chow commercials. 

Fell in love with the Tonight Show as I got older, but as a kid, that intro music meant I was off to bed.  I hated that show while I was growing up.

I think you're right about those being Friday night shows...I can't recall for certain...obviously the adult beverages and cigars I've enjoyed have burnt that part of my brain.
