Hillary's Running her mouf... AGAIN
« on: January 13, 2009, 11:11:19 AM »
These circus sideshows are going to be just as fun as the main event.  There's Hillary on TV talking about what she's going to do for people and how she's going to do it.  She doesn't know how to play Sec'y o' State, and her coaches/handlers/trainers aren't doing a very good job of keeping her in line.  She's playing Empress of Amerika.

Let's see how the media reports this...

Now that The ONE has been elected I'm sure they'll be kind to her.

I do like that the New York State Assembly GOP minority are attempting to get a special election rather than have another Kennedy (or someone even less qualified) forced on all of us through some shady appointment process...but it sounds to me like there will be another "appointment" by a fine, upstanding Democrat socialist governor along the lines of Gov. Blogojevich (who should be happy that his appointment is being seated for Illinois despite the efforts of the ineffective Reid and Durbin to keep it from happening).

This is from Newsday an al-AP this afternoon:

Assembly GOP: Election to replace Clinton
Assembly Republicans want a special election to replace Hillary Clinton

The Associated Press

New York's Republican Assembly minority wants a special election to fill the expected vacancy in the U.S. Senate instead of allowing Democratic Gov. David Paterson to make a unilateral appointment through a secretive process.

Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco, a Schenectady Republican, acknowledges a special election could take three months and cost as much as $20 million to seat Hillary Rodham Clinton's successor. He argues that it's well worth the effort to avoid diminishing democracy.

He acknowledges his bill has little chance of passing in the Democrat-controlled Assembly, but says he seeks the same kind of grassroots movement he used to derail former Gov. Eliot Spitzer's plan to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.
