Super Tuesday went according to script. Haley put up a fight in a couple of States, but basically got hammered everywhere else. Predictably, she just dropped out of the race, paving the way for a Trump/Biden (Or whomever) rematch in November. Gawt Damn, we're all in for an 8 month Super Shit Show. I don't look forward to it.
Somewhat locally, and since he's extended family, a mention that Barry Moore won a second term in Congress, by a narrow margin over Jerry Carl. I had never heard Carl's name until his signs started popping up, then his ads started hitting the airwaves. I still don't know shit about the man, but I do know the way he ran his campaign, is everything that's wrong with politics.
I don't say that because of my relationship with Moore, but that relationship allowed me to know where he stands on every issue. And every time a Carl ad came on, I found myself saying, "That's a blatant lie, you fucking scumbag." And WT can tell you how his campaign workers handled their business in true scumbag fashion.
