Elizabeth Olsen is fine as the lead actress. The rest, though?
450-lb Breaking Bad Todd, with eyes set so far back in his fleshy head that I can't figure out how he can even see is supposed to be the object of Olsen's overwhelming lust? God help us. If this were the case, my old ass would be bangin it with Gal Gadot.
Lily Rabe, who I usually like, is kind of horrible.
Olsen's nerd husband, the whiny preacher, everybody else in this show.... just bad.
If you've ever lived in a small town you know some of these people. I can put a name to the choir-leading faux sweet whore and her small-business backdoor man. I can put a name to the at first clueless, and then devastated spouses. I can put a name to the whore's friends who knew and kept the secrets. I can put a name to the preacher who was in the middle of it and had to know. That didn't end up in murder, though. It actually ended more like a Sopranos feud with the broken couples trying to reconcile and making a public show of it.
I just cannot get past Olsen and Bloat Todd, though. It doesn't work. I don't care how perfect his penis is.
