The 96 year old Kines is coming out of retirement to take the Auburn head coaching position.
Rane said that Auburn conducted a nationwide search before landing on the retired SEC coach that Rane knew from his yellawood commercials.
“I knew that he understood the complex nature of pressure treated lumber and would make us a good coach one day. Plus he’s damn near 97. I don’t think we have to worry about him porking the help”.
“It’s great to be in Pascagoula” said Kines.
