No, not the movies. The TV show.
When I opened HBO Max to get the movie, they have the entire 1970s series available for streaming.
First off, just like so many of the TV shows from my youth that I revisit (Six Million Dollar Man, Charlies Angels Hawaii Five-0, SWAT, even Star Trek etc.) it's not as good as I remember it being. There are exceptions like Columbo, Andy Griffith and a few others, but for the most part those old shows are pretty tacky. All those shows were poorly acted, the sets were cheap and overall just flat out cheesy as hell. The action sequences are unintentionally hilarious. The plots are silly.
Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter fits right in. It can't seem to decide if it wants to be serious or if it wants to be cartoonish like Batman so it lands sort of in the middle. It's not the worst of the old shows I've gone back to (Six Million Dollar Man might own that distinction) but it's not the bundle of awesome I thought it was. Could just be that I enjoyed watching that smoking hero in that sexy ass costume.
Lynda Carter was astoundingly hot, and she's got those big bazooms. She's not classically beautiful, but there's a flirty cuteness about her that goes a long way. I will say that she got classier and more confidently sexier as the series wore on. She really grew into the role. By Season 3, she was stunning. She's 70 now and I'd still bounce on that until I made a deposit or three.
I LOVE watching her spin and change into her outfit. That's the best.
But what is keeping me watching so far is the actors that show up in this thing.

The stunts are comically bad. The stories are downright goofy with all the Nazi stuff. Steve Trevor is like 20 years older than her in this thing (Roy Moore should maybe have brought that up) so he's cast poorly. But the show isn't completely terrible. I can watch it. I'm not sure that I don't find it actually MORE enjoyable than the overplotted, overstuffed WW84 movie. But damn, damn, damn Gal Gadot is gorgeous.
What I found funny was how closely parts of the first WW movie with Gal hewed to parts of the first episode of this series.
