Brainwashed Children
« on: October 01, 2008, 02:02:57 PM »
I really find this disturbing.

The Children of the Corn The Obama singing their praises of the messiah.  I'm sure the parents all teach them to sing Christmas Carols during the Yuletide season too (sarcasm)...the parents are probably all from the Crystal Halls of Academia...or they're old hippies.  At any rate these brainwashed children will be ruined for the rest of their lives...and to think these are the folk I'm depending on to pay for my social security...the future's bleak...

Try not to puke when listening to this shit; I could not help but think of this as some kind of production that Kim Jong mentally-ill enjoys as the starving North Korean children sing to him.

Speaking of liberals, old hippies, and communists spurning any kind of religious music this story appeared in WorldNetDaily yesterday...kind of appropriate to this thread I think; reminds me of what the leftist crowd would probably like to do here under the guise of "separation of church and state":

Handel's 'Messiah' unwelcome in China
Crackdown on Christianity now includes classical works like Mozart's 'Requiem'

Posted: September 30, 2008

China's crackdown on Christianity is being expanded to include even classical works of music if their themes are Christian, such as Handel's "Messiah" and Mozart's "Requiem," according to the London Telegraph.

The report said the Academy of Ancient Music, a leading orchestral and choral group in Britain, was invited to sing Handel's "Messiah" at the Beijing International Music Festival this month.

While authorities are allowing the performance to go on, the report said, it will be "by invitation only," a move effectively barring members of the public.

The report said the Sinfonica Orchestra di Roma also has cancelled plans to play Mozart's Requiem in honor of the victims of the Sichuan earthquake and to raise money for survivors. Instead, the program will include smaller, non-religious works.

Stefano Palamidessi, the general manager for the Rome orchestra, told the newspaper he was instructed to drop Requiem.

In his first news conference as AUBURN'S head coach in 1981, Pat Dye was asked this question:  "How long will it take you to beat Alabama"?  To which he responded, "Oh, about 60 minutes".

You know, I half joke about the cult like following of Obama.  It's easy to do when he says "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal" or "You will experience an epiphany. And you will say to yourself, I have to vote for Barack."  Spike Lee makes it even easier saying crap like this “When that happens [when he wins], it will change everything. You’ll have to measure time by ‘Before Obama’ and ‘After Obama’ .. It’s an exciting time to be alive now.”

But damn if I don't get almost attacked by the Obamaphiles when I bring these things up.  This video is priceless and a good find.  Thanks Tarheel, I have already e-mailed the link out to several.  Sadly enough, there are a lot of people out there that are slurping the kool-aid up.

There are gonna be days when you lay your guts on the line and you come away empty handed, there ain't a damn thing you can do about it but go back out there and lay em on the line again...and again, and again! -- Coach Pat Dye

I think they are all slurping something else.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

You are exactly right about the cult-like following.  With platitudes of "hope and change" and a vacuous message you'd think folk would wise-up to the empty suit of The Obama...I think half of his supporters just hate Bush and Republicans but the other half have bought into his wizardry.

Don't drink the kool-aid.  Ever.
