Octoberfest Brews 2017

Tis the season of hurricanes and seasonal brews and I picked up two early entries yesterday for the Climpsum contest.

Sierra Nevada joined forces with Brauhaus Miltenberger to create a well balanced and tasty 6.1% abv amber lager. Clean finish and nicely done.

Not so happy with the Sam Adams Marzen. Out of balance, too much malt sweetness to allow for much hop presence. Not one of their best efforts.

Anyone else find something to try, not containing pumpkin, Pinesol or pineapple juice?
