Agreed. No doubt we have a ton of weapons, especially the group of WR's. Let's see if Lindsey knows how to get it in their hands. Starting to look forward to it and I don't really know that much about his offense.
The one thing I'll go ahead and say is I don't want to see anything resembling Mike Leach or Kliff Kingsbury style offense. I don't care what he does as long as we continue to pound the rock first.

The passing game, particularly the patterns, are quite different from those we have seen under Malzahn. Most of the vertical patterns are bent toward the flags and moreover, receivers are working to get open rather than just mindlessly jogging it out preparing to stalk block.
Lindsey has to know from his time as an analyst that everything at Auburn is predicated by the run.
So where before it was run, flanker screen, run, run -let's take a shot deep...I think we see a better flow to match the down and distance rather than the supposed surprise element that eventually became a drive killer. We saw it coming, you could set your watch to it.
I don't know what to expect on the pass/run ratio although I expect to see more overall plays based on the comments from Mullens.
That said, it's not so bad throwing 35 times if you are running 80, 85 plays.
What I want deletedI'm sick to death of our first halves of football, this continual scenario of scripting the first drive which generally succeeds followed by some shoulder shrugging and two field goals going into the break leading 13-7 when we should lead by 17 or more.
Please fix this Chip, first and foremost.
