Coaches can use video in coaches booth and locker room.
Broader use of "defenseless" player
Replay official can call a targeting penalty not called on the field
Helmet comm with QB now ok

It's a wonder Saban has time to coach and recruit in between meeting with SEC officials on their calls and educating all of us on "what's best for the game" from his podiums.

Video will be interesting. Can they use iPads with the players like they do in the pros?

Does "broader use" mean that they are going to call it more often or that they are redefining the scope of what counts as a defenseless player?

I like the third one.

Not a fan of the helmet communication. I like CFB to feel as amateur as possible even if the little things like hand signals to call plays are a facade.
