"Jackson should stay on the $20 bill, because he had a history of tremendous success for the country." - Donald Trump

Trump's idea of "tremendous success" is apparently different than most rational human beings.

Jackson did a lot of good fighting the central bankers and powers that be. People should really look this stuff up instead of just screaming "he hated the natives!".

And we should put opera singers on our money.  They couldn't find a mime or a ventriloquist?  What about al Jolson? Amos? Andy? Ray Charles? Aunt jemimah?  Mrs Butterworth? Uncle Ben? Uncle Remus?

I don't want Tubman on a bill. She looks like the missing fucking link AND she was a criminal. Aiding in the theft of property.

Slave and Indians are what the new left call our "People's History of America".

He was voted in by the citizens of that time and did what they wanted him to do. he did it well. Just because we look back now and hear the pathetic words of the left on how we should be all full of white guilt, does not make him a bad president. I'd take him, TODAY, over anybody we got. Never doubted he was American and he did not hesitate to back it up.

Wanna honor someone not a US president or founding father, put them on the $10,000 bill!

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

He also called out the rat bastards in congress that were working against our country's on own interest. The fed reserve eventually became law 100 years later under Wilson but jackson delayed it by a century. That in itself is enough to get praise.

In fairness, the Democratic Party of 1810 and the GOP of 1870 were a lot different than they are today.

Why Chesty Fucking Puller isn't the only logical choice to be on the $20 is beyond me.  He should also be on the $1, the $5, and the $10.

WE!! should be on the $100.

I realize that he fought the bankers and the big wigs. He supported the common man and felt that the Government and banks was only helping the rich. I agree with that (throw Wall Street and Big Corporations in that mix and I still agree with that and believe something should be done about it...hint, why I vote for Bernie Sanders).

But the "instead of just screaming 'he hated the natives.'"

I'm thinking you should look up what he actually did.

I heard they ran through the briers and they ran through the brambles.
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.

As a kid, I won a chicken biscuit from Hardee's by calling into our local radio station to quote that line.

We fired our cannon 'til the barrel melted down
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round
We filled his head with cannon balls, and powdered his behind
And when we touched the powder off the gator lost his mind

Context of the times then. Lot bigger atrocity now looking back in hindsight than it was at the time. Alls I'm sayin.

Runt off all them Indians.  Just think.  Without him most of us would most likely be brown, squattin in tepees, eating venison and going to the casino at night.
