He wasn't even greeted at the airport by Castro.  (Either of them)

We have now become a pathetic lap dog for Michael Moore's favorite communist country!

The president of the US visits a communist country with which we are engaged in Cold War in order to advocate for their freedom and democracy and mending our relationship.

How is that different?

Idiot.

Why didn't you go all the way back to Nixon and China.
Exactly. Why not.

I wasn't aware that we were in a cold war with Cuba. That's a new one to me.

But, there is a distinct difference between trying to warm relations between communist countries that, with nuclear conflict, could cause the end of the world as we know it AND a country in which we would just like to hang out on their beaches and purchase their cigars.

But, the picture in front of Che is fitting.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2016/03/22/obama-addresses-cuban-people-both-island-and-us/82103344/

Quote
In speech to Cubans, Obama seeks to bury Cold War rivalry
Gregory Korte, USA TODAY 1:47 p.m. EDT March 22, 2016

HAVANA — President Obama addressed the Cuban people from an iconic theater in Old Havana on Tuesday, promising a new chapter in the history of Cuba, its relations with the United States, and the Western Hemisphere.

"I am here to bury the last remnants of the Cold War in the Americas. I am here to extend a hand of friendship to the Cuban people," Obama said.

But Obama also made clear there were still serious issues that need to be resolved before he can persuade Congress to lift the 54-year-old embargo, still a major sticking point in U.S.-Cuban relations.

"Now, I want to be clear: The differences between our governments over these many years are real, and they are important. I'm sure President Castro would say the same thing," he said, acknowledging Cuban President Raúl Castro, who watched the speech from a box seat. " I know, because I've heard him address those differences at length."

Obama received sustained applause in the 1,500-seat theater when he called on Congress to lift the embargo. "It is an outdated burden on the Cuban people. It's a burden on the Americans who want to work and do business or invest here in Cuba."

But the applause was more subdued when he continued, saying that "even if we lifted the embargo tomorrow, Cubans would not realize their potential without continued change here in Cuba."

That statement received approval only from the corners of the theater, as Obama urged Cuba to eliminate its two-currency system and allow access to the Internet on all parts of the island.

Obama's speech carried with it more than a century of historical baggage. Obama acknowledged that U.S. battleships crossed the Florida Straits to exert control over Cuba, while Cuban revolutionaries came the other way. He called the U.S. and Cuba "shadowboxers in a geopolitical struggle."

"Havana is only 90 miles from Florida, but for us to get here we had to travel a great distance, over barriers of history and ideology," he said.

Obama's keynote address in Cuba was also littered with cultural references — from poet Jose Marti, writer Ernest Hemingway, baseball great Jackie Robinson and singer Gloria Estefan. Obama said the United States and Cuba were "like two brothers who have been estranged for many years, even though we share the same blood."

Obama portrayed the United States as an example for a democratic Cuba but noted that democracy can be frustrating and messy. He delighted the audience when he said that the current presidential race had featured two Cuban-American Republicans running against a woman and a Democratic socialist.

Obama spoke at the Great Theatre of Havana, built in 1838 and home to the Cuban National Ballet. It's the same place that President Calvin Coolidge — the last U.S. president to visit Havana — told a Pan-American Conference in 1928 that "all of the Americas have an eternal bond of unity, a common heritage bequeathed to us alone."

Dozens of U.S. members of Congress attended Obama's speech, which aides described as the rhetorical high point of his history-making, 48-hour visit to try to further normalize relations with the country.

The speech to the Cuban people was nationally televised to the 11 million Cuban people on the Communist-controlled island. But just as important, Obama advisers said, are the 1.6 million Cuban Americans back home, many of whom are skeptical of Obama's warming of relations to the Castro regime that caused many of their families to flee the island over the past half-century.

Maybe he is looking to be the first President with a Presidential library in a different country. I think a communist country would be right up his alley.

Makes me physically ill to see several things about this incompetent boob of a president.

1) Does the fucker own a fucking tie?  Can he not even try to look remotely presidential?
2) Why does he always have that water buffalo training around behind him?  What is that thing?  It looked like it was wearing lipstick in one of the pictures I saw.
3) The visual of him hamming it up and buddy-buddying with Castro (any Castro) is nauseating.

He's the worst president BY FAR of my lifetime and one of the worst of all I've studied historically.

But it's not like they'd meet with dictators to try to smooth relations or anything.

I'm watching this loser fop give a speech in Argentina.  He's nothing but a skinny gay bag of pandering gas.

Nothing he says has any substance.  Nothing he says has any meaning.  He's absolutely nothing.  The president of Argentina looks like he wants to kill him.

America's going to create millions of jobs in Argentina.  Really?
America's going to crush "ISIL"

First, he's only bringing it up because he was chilling at a baseball game, acting like a twit, doing the fucking wave with a water buffalo in the wake of the bombings in Brussels.   I'm not saying he should have rushed back to the White House, but my God, when some black kid gets shot in Florida or in Missouri he suffused with outrage and gets himself involved.  When Americans are killed in a terrorist bombing... hey, let's do the wave and act like a clown.

What a fucking piece of shit.  There's never been a worse president in the history of this country.

And why the FUCK does he insist on saying "ISIL"  It's part of his anti Israel stance and a very clear indication to the terrorists that he quietly supports their mission.

He IS A MUSLIM.  What he says and what he does are two different things.  He may not support the terror activities (but I'm not going to concede even that) but behind the sham veil he puts on for the public, he supports the convert or be eradicated agenda.

Oh my God.  He persists with calling it ISIL, but when asked about the terror his outrage is confined to "They are killing Muslims. Innocent Muslims who worship Allah in a different manner. They are warping their minds... "  That's his concern.  The Muslims.

OH MY GOD.... Now he's crediting the "great, successful, integrated, patriotic Muslim communities"  for preventing terror attacks in America.  How we need to encourage more to come. How we don't need surveillance on them.  How they are our children's friends. How they are our colleagues in the workplace.

Fuck this guy.  Worst president, worst human ever.
