I'm not nearly as insufferable in person.  Well, maybe I am, but I will buy beer and bring weed.

Believe it or not, disagreement on politics doesn't warrant anyone thinking you're that. I think most on here know you're good people.

That's a lot of the frustration with ole weskie. Most of us know he isn't an idiot. I can't say the same for that other one you mentioned.

Getting back to the beer stuff though....picked up a few decent lagers in Wes' neck of the woods (Panhandle) last week.

One was Destin Brewery - Emerald Coast Ultra Lager
Other was Florida Avenue - Dead Parrot Light Lager has hints of sea salt and lime in it. Was Corona-ish to me.

They were both good and are absolutely hot weather, on the beach/at the lake/at the pool type beers.

Both Publix purchases as well?

I’m making a list of all these to try when down that way.

They probably DO sell it if you are in the Panhandle but they are def more a beverage store purchase. CCT can prob confirm since he's down there. Mine specifically came from Carousel on the west end of PCB near the Walton County line.

I was at the Carousel a couple of weeks ago.  Definitely a go to stop if you're in that neck of the woods/beach.  Oh, and Thomas' Donuts.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Appreciated, but I know I do the know-it-all bit a little heavier online.

All good.  I appreciate our discussions on here for the most part.

When I hit the wine, I usually do chardonnay.  Just about anything from Sonoma County.

That’s the only wine my wife drinks (Chardonnay). I only like Reds. Particularly Pinot Noir or a good blend.

Will try it out.

Next time any of you are in the Gump area, make the drive to Eastchase to have a sit at Pies and Pints.  They have some pretty notable brick oven pizzas and one of the better beer menus I have seen at an eating establishment.  Definitely one of my go-to spots when my wallet feels thick enough and I can trick my wife into driving.

Solid choice and, for some odd reason, it's often the only IPA I can find in a restaurant around here.  Even the Mexican joints.
