Herbie the Love Bug's driver died in LA at 84. Dean Jones. PCT will be proud to know that he was a navy man. Left his home in Decatur, AL at 15 and picked cotton and cut wood. Sang down in New Orleans and later served in the Navy all before he did all those films for Disney.
I didn't know he was from Alabama. Interesting life. I'm a love bug fan and like his other Disney stuff that I recall.
