It's a fact that he's considered a malpractice nightmare, you should maybe do your research on the man you're voting for to run the Country. Before he retired he settled two more cases, paying the people out of pocket. This is also the same doctor that claimed to have his prostate cancer removed by some supplements, nevermind the fact that he had surgery to do so.

Yeah, but he's black and can reach inside that little pea brain of yours and fix you.

You can sue him later. Everybody wins!

What does the color of skin have to do with anything?

So, you actually think he's qualified or capable to run this Country? I think your brain needs a new hamster, cause the one you have now might be dead.

If what we have in office now is reflective of what is considered "qualified" or "capable", then I'll vote for Dr. Carson with no hesitation.

This guy knows ^^^

Gloss over one...put the other under a microscope. That kind of analysis flies in the face of objectivity. And Ayn Rand wept. People should also take a closer look at Bernie's so called "I don't take pac or lobbyist or special interest money! I can't be bought" line of BS. These things are disclosed online. He gets a LOT of special interest money. And also - don't hold your breath - CORPORATE MONEY! But the idiot masses buy his load of crap.

I don't agree with Neil DeGrasse Tyson often but one of his quotes rings home a lot of truth with folks like our own Prowler (and people on the GOP side are not immune to this either):

Quote
"I dream of a world where the truth is what shapes people's politics, rather than politics shaping what people think is true."

Prowler - whether you know it or not, this is exactly what you are doing. You have a view and you have a notion in your head ahead of time - and you are simply going out of your way to find convenient, cherry picked or out of contexts "things" to support it, instead of the other way around. And also trying to find the guy who supports your preexisting ideas and tells you what you want to hear. People should let these candidates "come to them" on these election cycles, instead of forcing themselves into a preconceived notion and sandboxing in. Its the flaw of human emotion that allows this. Big giant rousing church sermons combined with pep rallies full of emotional warfare is what its become.

Again considering papers such as National Enquirer as a credible source is not a good idea. Maybe you should do a little more research.

Again, goes back to what I said above. Witch Hunting for things that don't exist or that are very scantly supported, even if you have to resort to "he said she said" or tabloid mags. Same tabloid mags that say Obama is gay, Michelle has a dick and W is near death.

Only since you asked.

Here's how I'd rank the nominees on both sides:
Like/Would Definitely Vote For
1. Rubio - Clearly the smartest, most experienced candidate that knows what the fuck he's talking about. Latino and young vote would bump him into a win for the Rs.
2. Fiorina - Also very smart. Everything people like about Trump is also true about Fiorina, except she actually knows how to discuss foreign, or hell, domestic policies without sounding like a bafoon. She probably is the most articulate and intelligent when it comes to this. Also she negates Hillary's entire campaign that simply being a woman is her top qualification.
3. Kasich - You guys probably think he's a RINO, but I think he is one of the few Rs to consistently display common sense.
4. Paul - The closest to a real libertarian. He was my for sure #1 early in the campaign, but I've faltered on him. Mainly because I don't believe he has any real chance, and also because he's compromised a lot, presumably to try to win the Republican primary. Double-edged sword I guess, but he's not navigating it well on either side.

Neutral/Might Vote For, But Probably Would Just Stay Home
5. Jeb! - For much of the same reason I don't like Hillary, I don't like Jeb. The Bush name is tainted to your average voter. Let alone played out. Need fresh blood, not a dynasty. And the idea that he was the smarter, stronger Bush has been wearing out momentously. He appears to be a pussy version of W.
6. Chris Christie - Fascist authoritarian. Hates the "Libertarian thread" of the Republican party. Big against pot. Big on the Patriot Act. I don't care for it.
7. Martin O'Malley - Yep, the Dem. No I don't like him, but I dislike about the same amount of things about him as Christie. He at least is articulate and just seems presidential. Note that I would have put Chafee and Webb either at the top of this section or the bottom of the previous section, around 5 & 6, but they both dropped out.
8. Ted Cruz - Goober.

Dislike/Would definitely not be motivated to vote for and would probably Actively Vote against
9. Mike Huckabee - Religious nutjub, IMO. I know that doesn't play here, but that's my opinion on the man. The Kim Davis shit was a clown show.
10. Hillary Clinton - For starters, the same reason I don't like Jeb! Add to that that she is the definition of nontransparent authoritarian government. The emails and Benghazi stuff is proof enough to me that she will lie and deceive for political gain. Fuck her.
11. Ben Carson - I want to cheer for this guy. A black brain surgeon? Sounds like an automatic win for the Rs. I hesitate to call him stupid due to his profession, but if I didn't know that about him I would swear he was dumber than Palin. He says outlandishly crazy/stupid things with frequency. He's a neuroscientist. Great. He's not a political scientist. When you push specifically to get an "outsider" that isn't tainted by the political system, what you're really saying is you want someone completely unqualified to run the country to run the country. Like saying you want my grandmother who has never used a computer to be your IT person. Just, no.

STRONGLY dislike/Would actively vote against because they will destroy the country if elected
12. Bernie Sanders - Self described socialist, as if you didn't know. His economic plan will drive us so far into debt, we will become his utopian Cuba with the quickness. He can brainwash people that only the top 1% billionaires with yachts will be punished with his tax plan, but they are idiots if they think that math adds up. He will be taxing the upper middle class i.e. most everyone here upwards of 50% to pay for the shit he's dreamed up.
13. Donald Trump - This guy is a complete and utter fucking idiot, and frankly, you are too if you don't immediately recognize it every time he opens his mouth. He says a whole lot of nothing about nothing every single time. But he's gonna make the economy classy and do it better than the other guy cause he's not ugly and super rich and wicked smart. Or something. I don't care if he was a successful business person, which arguably, he wasn't. Good for him that he turned a ton of money into a ton more money. That does not in any way, shape, or form qualify him for the presidency. Like I said about Fiorina, at least she clearly knows what she's talking about. Give her a question on Hezbollah and Hamas and she will answer intelligently. Trump would say he never cared for Greek food. He is a clown. Any international respect we had would be obliterated for good if we elect that imbecile. He is president Hector Camacho from Idiocracy. Words cannot explain how disastrous that would be for our country. And furthermore, I'm not convinced he isn't a Hillary plant sent specifically to make Republicans look like buffoons. He donated to the Clinton foundation, and there are nothing about any of his policies (the few he was able to articulate to begin with) that are "conservative". Not being PC is not the same as not being a belligerent asshole.

Agree with most. You at least have reasons and legit thoughts behind them.

I really do like Rubio. And would get on board more with kasich if not for his adamant support of common core and aca. But aside from those he makes a lot of sense.

Glad to hear someone else understand the Bernie billionaire rhetoric.

So you are saying a guy who has run successful businesses would be worse than the guy who was only a community organizer?

And we would LOSE international respect? As opposed to what we have now?

Your hatred of Trump is why he is doing so well. I'm not sold on the guy yet, but I damn sure am not ready to throw him out.

Most of us "common" folk are tired of anything that has ties to current politics. THAT is why Carson and Trump are doing well. Why keep giving the politically astute candidates more chances to screw us?

This is an interesting time in American politics. Will we go full commie, or give the country back to the people?

First, like I said, his success as a businessman is debatable at best. He inherited the Trump empire from his father. That's just a fact. It has gone bankrupt four times since 1993. That's also just a fact. At best, he was born on third base and thinks he hit a home run.

At some point in the 80s, he BECAME the business. He became famous for being famous. He is the male Kim Kardashian. She's a successful business person to, by the same measure.

Yes, we would LOSE international respect. It should be obvious that President Honey Boo Boo makes us the butt of a pitiful, sad joke.

You "common folks" want idiots to run the country. Ok. Seriously, why not Fiorina? I'm not trying to play the gender card, but that's the only reason I can even imagine that puts Trump over her in any measure. What do you like about Trump that isn't true for Fiorina? I can for sure list things I like about Fiorina that isn't true of Trump.

As a side note, I meant to mention that as much as I think Bernie's economic plans will drive us to ruins, he does at least have one redeeming quality. There is zero point zero percent bullshit. You for sure know what he thinks and he will say it without much calculation. In that regard, he is the anti-Hillary. I at least respect him for that, I just happen to disagree with most of those things he's saying with refreshing honesty.

So Trump has gone bankrupt and completely started over 4 times?
Or is it that 4 of his MANY companies have had to file bankruptcy? There is a difference. He uses the system just like any other successful businessman, whether they be dem or repub. It's not preferable, but it has kept many companies afloat. So I am not going to hang my hat on that as the main reason NOT to vote for him.

It seems a fact is whatever one says and then follows it with "FACT"!

But the bottom line is, I have no idea of knowing if he would be a good president or not.

But I do know a communist and a liar are not preferable to Trump.

The jury is still out on all of them. But don't be surprised if you and all of your most intelligent friends are going into the election with Trump on the ballot.

Us "common" folks get to have our opinion too.
