Mets seem to be in a funk. They did take two from the Cardinals which is a good sign but they have let the Pirates rape their booty. The Mets need another strong bat in the lineup. Rumors are that they are in the hunt to trade for a strong SS. Talks are on with the Cubs for a trade.

Cubs on the other need some help in the pitching rotation which the Mets have plenty of.

Slow your roll GH, I know your mad cause the Braves suck but its gonna be ok. Besides, I thought smack talk was the norm here.

In all seriousness though, I can see the parallels with the Sox/Yankees but to me Mets/Yankees seem to be a closer relation. Not talking about the fan base personality really, more the proximity and the rivalry.
