That's where I'd stick him as well.
Where you'd stick him has nothing to do with this.

Out of all of those backs, who has the least amount of lost yardage? A stat that is truly amazing!

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I'm going with Rudi for least yardage.  Loved Ronnie Brown but I can't put him as one of the all time AU greats.  He had one decent season after filling in for a guy he couldn't even beat out.  And Sani's point has to figure into the argument in that these guys now are playing two, sometimes three more games than RB's like Fredrickson, Cribbs, Brooks etc.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

Guessing at who has the least loss yardage, I would go with Stephen Davis outta that list.

Tre rarely lost yards on a play. out of 39 carries, he had 1 (ONE) play that resulted in lost yardage. And that was always his motif. He just did not lose yards. i think the most yards he lost on a play was when Ricardo Louis tackled him in the backfield.

That is what puts Tre closer to the top for me.

Nobody will ever be better than Bo. When you stood beside Bo, you felt it. It wasn't just size or talent. You felt like he had been touched by the finger of God. The rest on the list have great football talent, but Bo was different. So he will always be the top.

After that, it is a good debate.

And i also thing we will have to wait several years to see how he does in the pros. As everyone else has had a chance to play at the next level, our opinions are skewed. If Tre is the next Shady McCoy, our opinions will change even more. Just human nature.

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friends, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Whoa...really?  Ronnie Brown may not have been top 2 or 3 but knocking him for not being able to beat out Carnell is like knocking Steve Young for being unable to beat out Joe Montana.

Brown was an athletic freak in that he was tremendously strong and fast and had the agility to make guys miss.  What puts Brown really high in my book was that he could catch the ball out of the back field.

I thought this was a trivia question. I agree Tre was one of the best at getting positive yardage. His body build, heart and O line and type of O are all factors in this.

On my list of favs, Tre is my number two behind Bo. I haven't put a lot of thought into it but quickly finishing out my top 5: Carnell, Cribbs and Stephen Davis.
6. Rudi 7. Brown8.Fullwood 9Brent Tateand 10. Tucker

I never saw Tucker play.Almost out William Andrews on here but he rarely carried in college but was one hell of a blocker.

Ok fuck it. I'm on an I phone. So b4 u start, screw u too.

Agree 100%. Without question the G.O.A.T and I will be suprised if there is another Auburn RB with that kinda of athletic ability in my lifetime. Regaurdless of numbers (Tre Mason has a very good chance to own all of the records if he decides to return for his senior year) Bo Jackson will always be the face of Running Back U.

That said the race for number 2 is a tie, imo, between Tre and Carnell. Probably 2 of the most violent runners I've seen at Auburn yet their running styles are so different. Carnell was a threat to score almost anytime he touched the ball and I honestly don't know if there is another AU RB that I'd rather have carrying the ball on 3rd and 2 than Tre Mason. Can't say enough about either of those 2 guys.
