The Alabama and Texas regiments were the sole reason the rebs were even in that fight as long as they were. The union officers said they fought like crazed men. Take notes here.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

You're just fucking baiting at this point, right?

Take a look at Epperson's "The Unseen Hand". It gives quoted from one of MLK's most trusted friends. Reverend Uriah J. Fields, the clergyman who was King's secretary during the early stages of the bus boycott that made King famous, wrote this about those associated with him:  "King helps to advance communism.  He is surrounded with Communists.  This is the major reason I severed my relationship with him during the Fifties.  He is soft on communism."

Its also worth to take a look at Jackie Kennedy's opinions of him. It paints a different view than the propaganda spoonfed to the public by the media since its inconvenient to do so.

Whatever, Yellowhammer; the fact that my native state engaged in the War in the first place is the sole reason that kept the Confederacy in the fight for as long as it was; native Tarheels provided more men and more material to the cause than any other state in the Confederacy among other things.

So there.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

Would this be a bad time to add that I had relatives in the 1st Alabama Calvary, United States Army?

That would be as bad as me adding that I had ancestors who were officers in the 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment who helped hold the end of the line at Little Round Top at the Battle of Gettysburg; as I recall charging and disbursing a bunch of Yellowhammers with fixed bayonets (after they ran out of ammunition) thus ending the attack on the Federal extreme left flank.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'
